A regular caller to the Quinn and Rose radio program, "Carl from Ohio," who claims to be involved in the McCain campaign's internal polling operation (I know, I know ...), says that unless the Obama fraud is so widespread it will be a McCain landslide.
Here is what he says the GOP internal state by state polling is showing for last night:
NJ M - 48, O - 43, U-7
MI M - 44, O- 42, U - 10
CA O - 44, M - 43, Barr - 3, U - 9
PA M - 55, O - 33, U - 10
He says undecideds are breaking 4:1 for McCain.
In Pennsylvania, the Dem vote is O - 47, M - 37, U - 13
#1 issue for Dems voting for McCain is the that Obama is cheating and trying to buy the election
Totally agree Scotswife, too many ups and downs based on all of this info, I thought I might take a break and catch a movie today, although not much playing, yet here I am back at Free Republic, I wish today was Election Day, keep on fighting people, don’t get too high or too low on any one piece of information.
“PLEASE someone, tell me PUMAS are REAL, are large in numbers and a force to be reckoned with.”
Yes and no.
No in the sense that people that share the political views of PUMAs are all registered and debating on these blogs.
Yes in the sense that “PUMA-think” is 100% real.
I’m seeing and hearing “PUMA-think” here in W. PA. Again, I have to warn you that my anecdotal evidence is worthless, but the whole “PUMA” concept is as real as a Reagan Democrat. If this translates into votes, McCain wins PA, hands down.
I know of a number of union voters that are either voting McCain or not voting this year. This trend is across the entire group. This did not happen in 2000 or 2004....trust me, from about 8PM on election night 2000 until now, I have done nothing but argue with these union guys about Bush at my local watering hole :-). No fights this year about McCain (if anything, I was the one bitching about him).
Will this be enough to offset Philadelphia? I don’t know...that is all going to come down to turnout in that area. I suspect the suburbs of that area are going to swing more towards McCain.
I do feel confident that you are going to see a shift in our direction on election night in virtually every other area of PA come election night.
I am no expert though, so take my “on the ground comments” for what they are worth :-)!
Seems to me, just my FOGGY old memory, that it’s unusual to have THIS many undecideds this late in the game.
Seems like an awful lot with only hours to go have not decided.
Are these PUMAs?
How come the super secret operative’s name is always Carl?
this was posted several days ago
i would be careful with this stuff to be honest
a cogent observation amongst some sandheads
it’s winnable but we have to turn out
It's hard to imagine McCain winning NY but as the following 2008 primary map shows, Obama has very little Democrat support in NYS.
Yes, CA going to be much, much more than 10% for Obama. MI is not winnable, yet the Pumas and 527s have been hammering Obama there and his numbers have dropped by almost half since McCain pulled out. He still has a 10-point lead, but a late shift could make this interesting.
I think PA and NH are good chances especially PA
NC should be alright
I’m here in Fl and believe we have it
VA is scaring me as I am not seeing much from there but hopefully Huckabee gets out the evangelicals in droves, and the churches get together this Sunday
That would certainly be a greater miracle than the Messiah promising everyone a post-election swag bag.
I don’t care if it is true or not...I WANT TO BELIEVE...and I am going to delude myself for a day just because I want to.
I LOVE THIS THREAD!
they are
talked to a very rich Jewish girl yesterday and was trying to change her vote but alas she is ignoring facts like all liberals and is voting for obama
I asked twice why do you work so the lazy will get some of your money
still no answer yet
threaten the rich with their money and they will take note

That's where the claim loses any and all credibility. There is no way McCain has anything less than a 15 point deficit in California.
Lots of anti Obama Democrats in NJ. the only questioin is why didn't M/P campaign there?
In August I was standing in line at an airport shop. The guy in front of me was buying a magazine with O on the cover. The clerk repeatedly asked him what he thought about Obahma. He wouldn’t answer and finally said he hadn’t made up his mind. I piped up and said “McCain!” The guy turned to me and grinned like a Cheshire cat. The clerk looked at me and said she was for Hillary, but if Hillary didn’t make it, then yeah, McCain. There you have it: an undecided, a PUMA, and a definite McCain supporter—three out of three votes for McCain.
I know a lot of union guys in Michigan who are voting for McCain.
We voted down affirmative action here and these guy are thinking that if Obama gets in office, then the next job opening will automatically go to a black guy and jobs are already hard to come by here.
Also, it may not be a pretty thing, but Michigan is pretty racist. Detroit has caused a big buildup of hateful feelings over the years. Tons of people have not forgotten the riots, the high crime rates with blacks, etc.
See my previous comment on Quinn and Rose’s “inside exclusives.” I was spot on here, too:
