"Show me just what Mohammed brought that was new, and there you will find things only evil and inhuman, such as his command to spread by the sword the faith he preached." - Manuel II Palelologus
Even talk radio hosts quote bogus polls, it shows me that they’re not doing enough homework, just like their support of Romney.
Some of us here are doing better “show prep” than the rich and famous talk show hosts.
or.... (see next post)
Yes it is.
Yes it is.
I just finished answering questions for an AP poll.
Trying to remember the exact questions but here’s an idea.
Most all the questions had 5 choices for answers.
Have I voted yet?
Did I vote by mail, etc?
Who did I vote for Pres.?
What was the main reason- I chose experience
How did I vote on marriage amendment -
How did I vote on the illegal immigrant amendment
Should illegals be given a chance at citizenship or deported?
Of course the usual, age, income and race
Do I approve of the way Pres. Bush has run his administration?
Do I approve of the Iraq war?
How important was race in my decision for Pres.?
What is my religion? - When I chose Christian-
Do I consider myself a born-again Christian?
What are the most important issues this country is facing?
Economy, healthcare, terrorism, energy. One more but it eludes me now.
I said terrorism because if we are struck again then none of the others will matter much.
At the end, she asked for my first name. I said no because I didn’t want to be treated like Joe the plumber.
I asked how they got my number and said I was afraid of the Obama people and how they might retaliate against me.
Three polls were notoriously bad, CBS/PEW/Gallop and sometimes RAS.
Most polls were 5%-8% and those three were in the 10%/14% range, but because of the names involved, they were given inclusion and deference.
To me, that as so outside of the statistical norm, and would require McCain’s negatives to be so high, and Obamao’s “ready for the job” number to leave 44% that they were simply not credible.
Yet there was Britt H and the “All Stars” virtually coronating Obamao...it was stunning.
PA to me is a slog, a real battle for McCain, people forget that GWB used PA as a trap for Kerry while he went to work in Ohio, this time around...who knows?
People also forget that Election 04 happened during a slow recovery, Kerry blathered on and on about lost jobs...sort of like this year...we will see.
BTW, Murtha, the PA “guy”, who said “Obamao will win PA by 4%” a month or so ago is now in a fight for his political life...hmmm...someone may have miscalculated the PA voters this time around...and not in a positive way for Obamao!
What do Barack Obama and "Black Liberation Theology" have in common?
Quote:
Black Theology refuses to accept a god who is not identified totally with the goals of the black community.
If god is not for us and against white people, then he is a murderer and we had better kill him.
The task of Black Theology is to kill gods who do not belong to the black community.
Black Theology will accept only the love of god which participates in the destruction of the white enemy.
What we need is the divine love as expressed in black power which is the power of black people to destroy their oppressors here and now by any means at their disposal. Unless God is participating in this holy activity, we must reject his love.
From the Book: Black Power and Black Theology Author: James Cone, Ph.D.
Why do you need to know this?
Reverend Jeremiah Wright (Barack Obamas pastor for 20 years) says that the teachings of James Cone are part of the foundation for his own beliefs and teachings at Trinity United Church of Christ.
In his own words, Rev. Wright believes in Systemized Black Liberation Theology as outlined in James Cones book: Black Power and Black Theology.
Senator Barack Obama has publicly stated that he counts the Reverend Wright as a member of his family and his senior spiritual advisor.
So, Obama learned from Wright and Wright learned from Cone.
You do the math.
Regardless of your race,
Regardless of your party affiliation
..
Is this the kind of change you want for America?
IMO, that goes to the general dislike the Talkers have for McCain, keep in mind a successful Talker has a huge ego, for them it becomes personal sometimes.
BTW, now might be a good time to recall Murtha’s original “Racist region” statement, lost in the rhetoric, ol’ Murtha said that “it will be closer then it should be, but Obamao will win by 4%”
And now Murtha is fighting for his political life against Col Russel...someone may have misjudged his own electorate..
Rush read the article that this lady had posted at Hillbuzz.com
Of course not -- the 311 doesn't include whatever portion of the toss-ups he'll pick up.
Speaking of FOX and bias etc...you know what I wish for? The old days when it was a lot harder to tell who talking heads were voting (or am I idealizing?) It’s so creepy this year with the obvious 0bama bias.
Entering the ‘Margin of Error’ area!
Yes,I think you are correct, the trend is breaking towards McCain.
Rasmussen does not list Texas in his electoral college projections - skewing the numbers for Obama
Unbelievable!
Is this the Sarah P. post that I have heard about? It was mentioned on a thread here as though everyone knew about it. Someone also said that Rush was talking about such a post.
Strange. While Texas does not show up on my page, I highlighted the page to copy and up pops Texas and WV in the leaning GOP. Looks like a font error by Ras. The numbers are right.
Leaning?
LOL!
