You are not kidding about finding a Bible believing church.

I grew up Methodist in Texas. I went to several Methodist and Presbyterian churches in the area. I gave up on those denominations out here.

I love all the formality of the Methodist church, but I ended up at a contemporary, small church. It meets in a school and has a contemporary worship band. I met the pastor through a friend of mine, and he has a true heart for God. I figured I could handle the contemporary format of the church if the minister was good. I’ve been there about 8 years.

Praise God you found a good pastor and a solid place of worship. It makes all the difference this side of eternity to have good teaching and fellowship. There are alot of lonely Christians out there in large spirit lacking churches in So Cal. Sounds like your pastor is a treasure.:)
