Update: Fox news is reporting that Obama's pollster is confirming the results discussed here. In a memo sent to the Florida ground operation, he confirms that the polls are tightening up and that GOTV operations are critical and in need of resources in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Virginia. He says that resources are less of a problem in Pennsylvania. When contacted by Fox, he confirmed the McCain release, "McCain is right".

When I say "leading votes," I mean ballots from registered Republicans vs. ballots from registered Dems. So the actual number of R ballots picked up and turned in is 1,000 greater in CO than the number of Dem ballots. Now, in theory, ALL Republicans can vote for Obama, but the traditional numbers are that about 89-90% of Republicans vote R, and so far about 87% of Dems (in polls) said they'd vote D.

That means that not only do the Republicans have an advantage in actual ballots turned in by R voters, but they almost certainly win the differential in R and D ballots.

This is before we even get to the Bradley Effect.

The point is that the Obama campaign was putting so much credibility in the notion that it would turn out oodles of "new" voters who would vote early out of sheer delight. Ain't happenin.

I'm gaining confidence here with each report. It's amazing---the pollsters seem to be drifting off a cliff when the evidence is in front of their faces.

Something else to consider: my chairman said he was downtown today in one of the polling places to drop off a ballot and it was full of blacks voting. I said, "Well, if they comprise 15% of the voters, once they've voted their 15%, there won't be more." And he pointed out that this will greatly change the reporting of precincts on election day, because we would traditionally wait for precincts to come in 400 to 10 or something . . . but this time, since they've already voted, it will greatly change how many votes Obama can "get" from certain precincts.

For example, we would always hold our breath waiting for Cuyahoga County to come in . . . except this time, a lot of it will already be "in."

I read that same thread yesterday, LOL.

The Dems have been taken over by the MoveOn, anarchist wing of the party, you think they’re going to as organized as the adults in the GOP??

The last of the sane, patriotic democrats have jumped ship to the GOP this cycle, leaving the libtards to “organize” the party, good luck with that!

It’s amazing those things float, my father was on the USS Franklin in WWII. I saw a show about the theory of displacement and I still can’t believe they float. I remember going to the Intrepid in NY as a kid and being terrified when we got to the sick bay, they had to bring me back up top. My mother has a picture of me manning the guns on one of the ships.

I enjoyed reading that post from DU.
Awesome.
I bet this is happening all over with lack of enthusiasm.
After all, shouldn’t there be volunteers out the ying yang for the messiah?

They’ll assume someone else will do the heavy lifting, they will be glued to their bongs on election day.

ACORN registered all those new voters (fraudulent or not) to fool the pollsters into oversampling Democrats and showing Obama with a commanding lead and spurring a “herd mentality”. Pollsters are oversampling Democrats, but there is no herd mentality. The GOP is not dispirited - they’re determined.

Another prong of this scheme is to have multitudes of Democrats vote early, creating the false appearance that Obama is running way ahead. God bless the Republicans who have voted early and are keeping pace with the Dems.

And you are right, once the well has been emptied, there’s no going back and getting more water. The early votes from Cuyahoga will be among the first counted. Obamaniacs will have to sit on their hands and watch as the votes from the red precincts start rolling in.

I hope and pray the same thing happens in PA. Philadelphia and Pittsburgh will empty their wells early, and then the conservative “T” comprised of “bitter clingers, racists and rednecks” will repudiate That One.

You hit on the exact strategy. I'm now wondering if Axelrod a long time ago didn't conclude Obama couldn't win "traditionally" and that he had to sneak a victory through with extremely unorthodox (illegal) means?

I know, this runs completely contrary to the current polls . . . but then, so do most of the numbers we're seeing, and that's without even getting into the numbers of Dems who actually vote for McCain, which I think will be consequential.

I’ve been hip to their strategy since day one. That’s why I posted that Yuri Bezmenov video at the height of the hand-wringing here.

They tried to create an air of invincibility, an inevitable Obama Presidency.

The MSM declared Al Gore President before the polls closed in 2000, many Republicans in their cars turned around and went home, Gore almost won, then tried to steal the Presidency in broad daylight.

2004 - The MSM called the election over and a LANDSLIDE for Kerry at about 2:00 PM Eastern time to try and depress the Republican vote.

2008 - They are trying to declare the election over before it even starts to suppress the Republican vote. As James Carville said, there are more of us than there are of them. The only way they can win is to suppress Republican turnout.

Amazingly, some of them are panicking and going off script early, they feel the thundering herd of elephants, many democrats are riding on top of those elephants, this will be Obama’s downfall.

The MSM is trying for a bloodless coup in broad daylight, just like Gore tried in 2000 and their LANDSLIDE KERRY play in 2004. It’s plain as day, and won’t work. The MSM made a MAJOR mistake by going in the tank for Obama and waking up millions of Hillary supporters to their game, it will all come to fruition in a few days.

Any data on how many people have voted early in Ohio so far including the absentee ballots?

I just heard on the local Orlando news that so many people are early voting, there was a 3 1/2 hr. wait at one library in Orlando! They had to park their cars in residential areas. One capitalist took advantage and allowed them to park in his lawn for $5.00 ea. LOL!

I know, this runs completely contrary to the current polls . . . but then, so do most of the numbers we're seeing,

Wherever there's a system, you'll have people trying to game the system. Obama's puppetmasters have found and exploited weaknesses in the system. The first real clue was the way they gamed the caucus states. The Clintons never knew what hit them.

The ACORN stuff was going on at the same time, but under the radar. Breaking the promise of accepting federal campaign funds was decided on when they found ways to cheat the fund raising guidelines with lax screening procedures and rafts of prepaid credit cards.

Once the election was secured by O, with control Congress and the DOJ, none of the illegal fundraising and links with ACORN would ever be investigated and prosecuted.

If McCain wins, let's hope that he pursues the campaign finance illegalities with the full force of the law and leaves no stone unturned. This cannot be permitted to happen ever again.

It's been an elaborate scheme/scam. Let's hope and pray that enough people see through it.

Biden has not been pulled from the campaign trail as of tonight. He was speaking at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA just this evening.

Agree that the conservatives are determined to vote. It seems to me that the conservatives are being more determined this time.

Some enterprising reporter needs to show the statistics from these precincts of what percentage of people voted.

Raise the red flags early if big city precincts are showing 80-90-125% “turnout”.

I read it last night ; )

It only echos what I’ve said all season, their tactics are transparent if you know what you’re looking for.

Remember 2000? Call the election early for Gore, suppress turnout.

Remember 2004? Call the election EARLIER, 2:00 PM Eastern time I was informed of the Kerry Landslide, suppress turnout.

2008 - Call the election over in September, suppress turnout.

The national zeitgeist is turning hard against Obama right now, some of the lefties are even going off script.

Everything I’ve told you since day 1 stands, Lanslide for mccain/PALIN.
