She looks 70 but she’s only 57. What did she do to herself? Space aging?

And I care about what Sally Ride thinks because why??? BTW who is she again???????

I think McCain’s promise to freeze non-essential agency budgets might just be the cause here.
NASA essential?—I doubt it.
With Obama we’ll just magically get money for NASA by cutting 25% from the defense budget.

Quota queen endorses quota king.

Nope. Obambi is no friend of NASA either. If it is not “social spending”, then he isn’t interested.

Barry says he will support NASA. Maybe so but there are several democRATs who hate NASA with a passion. Does Sally or anyone else with half a brain really think Barry will stand up to Conyers and demand that his NASA-eviscerating legislation not pass?

I thought astronauts were smart? John Glenn dispelled that myth.

NASA has managed to do with space travel what Social Security has done for retirement - chart a course for the lowest common denominator at the highest possible expense to the public treasury.
Sally Ride is a perfect example, all technical jargon and little inspiration. If she thinks Obama is an inspiration, what did she think of Werner Von Braun?

Remember when the President of the L.A. Chapter of NOW publically endorsed McCain/Palin when she introduced Palin at her rally somewhere near LA? About a month ago? Does anyone remember the media milking that to death the way they did that has-been Colin Powell? And now how they will with Sally Ride? And all the Rinos who "defected"?
I think Fox covered it for about a day, then then that was the end of it.
