I have a former DIL (thank goodness she is ‘former!!’) who was a Dem thru and thru. (My son asked us NOT to talk politics.) This was when Clinton was running for the second time.
One day I asked her WHY she was going to vote for Clinton. I asked her to think long and hard and to consider all the baggage he carried. I also said I would not argue with her -— I simply wanted to know why she would vote for such a person. She thought for a while and then simply answered -— “Because he’s a Democrat.”
