Ever notice the trend? When I encounter a liberal friend or acquaintance and the subject of politics comes up, I attempt to persuade that person to my way of thinking with passion, logic and reason. Often, when liberals encounter conservatives, they will often stridently try to shove their point of view down my throat, and if unsuccessful, the ad hominem attacks begin (nazi, fascist, you know the drill), the liberal accusing me of being eeeeevil!!!

You may not be far off on this point. Rush was mentioning the style of speech Obama has perfected which does tend to “hypnotize” hearers. It’s an actual style with a specific name. Those most susceptible to this type of speaking are (1) children, and (2) highly eductated people. Truth.
