You know the videotape that shows
Barack Obama toasting PLO terrorist Rashid Khalidi? The one that the Los Angeles Times
refuses to release?
"The Los Angeles Times did not publish the videotape because it was provided to us by a confidential source who did so on the condition that we not release it," said the newspaper's editor, Russ Stanton...
How frickin' stupid do they think we are? Someone gave the Times a videotape
so it wouldn't be released? And they can't publish a transcript?
I guess that's the kind of executive talent the newspaper business is attracting these days.
However, I received a tip from a person who has provided useful, accurate and unique data from LA before (e.g., "
All six of CNN's 'undecided voters' were Democratic operatives"). Take it for what it's worth, but I believe this person is on target.
Saw a clip from the tape. Reason we can't release it is because statements Obama said to rile audience up during toast. He congratulates Khalidi for his work saying "Israel has no God-given right to occupy Palestine" plus there's been "genocide against the Palestinian people by Israelis."
It would be really controversial if it got out. Tha's why they will not even let a transcript get out.
Yep, I guess that would do it.

I was hoping someone would give him heck about that post.....geesh.

I just realized that we have Obama on tape saying HIS kids went to the “lab school” (John & Bill Ayers’ Small Schools Workshop) AND Ayers’ kids went to the “lab school”, AND Rashid Khalidi’s kids went to the same “lab school” as Obama’s.
Coincidence...no
Also, Obama blurbed Ayers’ book on juvenile justice and Khalidi thanked Ayers for “letting me use your kitchen table to do my writing”.

Check out shilohouse.org. That guy has the same thinking you have.

LAT already wrote a story about the dinner (but probably didn’t tell the whole story), so now they can say the tape is protected under confidentiality (shield law) rules. That’s the only thing I can figure.

Still, check out shilohouse.org. The next 9 years are going to be crazy. The Wake Up Call is a great read. His radio show is very Jewish friendly.

Ive been re-reading McCains autobio. When I came to the intense days he spent deciding whether to take the offer of freedom from his captors, not knowing exactly why they were pushing it on him (found out later that it was exactly when his father was taking over the asian fleet) but guessing correctly that they sought a photo op for their own glorification, I was stunned by a thought.
There was Senator McCain, ill with dysentary that was potentially fatal, many broken bones, incapacitated. His closest friend, in their coded messages through the walls, told him it would be no lack of honor to take the offer and urged him to, saying that he might not survive in captivity the way he was. Yet McCain, as much as he wanted and NEEDED freedom, decided that doing so would hurt the morale of the men left behind, who should have gone home first but their fathers were not admirals, and also that it would be a coup for the enemy and hurt the armed forces and thus the USA itself. And when he refused this offer, he was so cruelly tied up and beaten that he was left in pools of his own blood and waste for days.
How many of you think Barack Obama would put the USA first like that?? Put up your hands.
I thought so.

Are we not 63 years out from the holocaust? What is that scripture about 7 tens of years. 63 + 7?

I would like to know why the LA Slimes is claiming that they are protecting their source by not releasing the tape?Probably because their source assured them he's gotten death threats or doesn't even need threats, but knows he'd be hurt if the tape were released.
To: outlawjake
I wonder if the LA Times had made a promise not to release a damaging tape about the Republican candidate, would they honor that, or would they be “forced” to relase it “as a matter of newsworthiness” or “for the good of the country”?!

My friend (who is Jewish), his parents already voted for Obama. He’s voting for McCain. He just doesn’t understand their thinking on why they voted this way.

“Well, if the tape giver wanted this to be out, and the LAT aint doing it, s/he would give it to another media outlet if they still had a copy.”
I work in the industry. You NEVER give your master tape of an important video. You ALWAYS make a copy in case something happens to the original.

I still think the whole thing stinks.
I doubt that the “source” has gotten any threat at all. I bet that Zero's henchmen more than likely visited the LA Slimes and told them that they'd be cut off from any and all access to the false messiah if it were released.

Nah, I think that someone supplied the tape to the LAT to prove that Obama’s support for Israel was just campaign rhetoric, and that he didn’t really mean it. It’s a similar situation to the remarks about unilaterally revising the free trade agreement with Canada, where his campaign adviser, Goolsby, contacted the Canadians and told them, he doesn’t really mean it.

McCain would not be making demands like this unless they know first hand whats on them and they have a copy.I think your attribution of actual cunning intelligence to the McCain campaign managers is wishful thinking.
