Later tonight I will be doing the second “Nightly Bi-Poller Report” and it will be an interesting post because Gallup has come out today with a stunning poll for their ‘traditional’ (i.e., historically proven) turnout model:

Even Gallup’s fanciful ‘Extended’ turnout model took a huge dip.

That was very interesting. I just looked at the 2000 and 2004 Presidential races. Bush took 18% and 19% of Philadelphia. If the racial component holds there and McCain gets at least 30% of Philly Obama can't win Pennsylvania. At 25%, McCain will probably win PA because he would have gained votes in Pittsburgh and other areas also. At the same numbers as Katz, McCain wins in a landslide.

Thanks for the information.

That is my biggest prayer also. There is a silent MAJORITY out there of traditional folks. They simply need to vote, no if’s and’s or but’s. Even the voter fraud will not overcome that. CO

Of course how this shakes out in the electoral college, I am not sure.

Interesting that you bring that up. Over the last two days, I've heard the media mention the possibility of an Electoral College Reversal (Obama wins Popular Vote, but McCain wins EC). Is there something the media knows which they don't want to tell us?

“Very true. I’m in my late 20s and very conservative. As are most of my friends. I’ve actually been surprised to find out how many of my peers are voting for McCain (much has to do with Palin.) Granted, we are in the south, but I just don’t believe that all younger voters are Dems.”

Another late 20’s conservative here...You all should hear my business school professors make fun of Obama!

I’m originally from Akron - what town are you in?

I live in Columbia, MD now - we saw a few dozen Obama signs and not ONE McCain sign in a residential area.

However, there are several HUGE McCain/Palin signs along the highways here.

We know it too. The GOP has an electoral college advantage. This is because more states are naturally GOP states and each state has two EV for Senators. Bush carried 31 states in 2004. McCain is very likely to win more states than Obama this year, whether he wins or loses the Electoral College.

My great hope is that PA goes red early next tuesday. If that happens obama is done.

My greatest fear is Gov. Rendell Crook waits until all of the rural counties are counted before he includes the dead, illegal, acorn trash from Philly/Pittsburgh.

If I’ve done my math right, McCain would have to poll a 51-47 lead in the latest day in order to achieve that swing.

That is how I calculated it as well.

This was after the stock market dropped 500 points over two days. I wonder what the poll numbers were after today's 900 point gain?

An early win could affect the western states that are up for grabs.

I just saw MC is losing narrowly in MONTANA!!

That seems crazy to me.

I think McCain is finally animated (since the last debate) because he’s finally realized that he’s not just running for President and this isn’t just any election. Obama is a dyed-in-the-wool commie and it is Obama’s intention to destroy this country figuratively and, perhaps even literally. McCain and conservatives, independents, and “conscientious liberals” (if there is, indeed, such an animal anymore) are finally starting to realize what’s at stake. If Obama wins, it is the end of America as we know and love it.

This is what McCain has finally figured out happens if he does not fight Obama and win (in no particular order):

1) Extreme, pornographic, hate-filled, racist, Gangsta rappers invited to the Inauguration (already done; you’ll see this at his coronation in Chicago next week)

2) Fairness doctrine eliminates any semblance of free speech on broadcast radio, print and television

3) Redistribution of the wealth (only temporary, as any corporations and employers with any sense will relocate off-shore)

4) Elimination of 401(k)s, IRAs, and all other private retirement accounts (this is now a guaranteed sure thing with an all Democrat-controlled Washington).

5) Partial-birth abortions and murder of born-alive infants legalized and paid for by your taxes

6) Terrorists invited to the US and even the White House for unfettered “negotiations”

7) Nuclear Iran exterminating Israel and the US doing nothing to retaliate (this is what Biden was talking about)

8) Elimination of the death penalty

9) Extreme, radical, liberal justices in the mold of Ginsburg

10) Creation of “civilian” defense force (aka SA and SS) to replace conventional military (something he promised early on and which has been completely ignored, even here)

11) Zombie-like, crypto-facsist followers getting “in your face” for the next 8 years (you’ll see them outside the polling places next week)

12) Death of any semblance of western culture in the US and it’s replacement with anti-American, anti-Christian, anti-freedom, anti-individualist “slam poetry” readings, gangsta rap, marxist teachings, etc. in public schools.

13) Criminalization of home-schooling (already alluded to)

14) Elimination of tax breaks for religious private schools

15) 25% reduction of the military (as Barney Frank has already promised)

16) That’s just the first term. It probably gets worse...

Obama is the most dangerous person to ever run for political office in the history of the United States. McCain finally figured this out and is now running with real passion. Hope it’s not too late.

“Isn’t this just the pre bambi-infomercial set up so they can jack up the polls afterward for bambi and attribute it to his leg-tingling eargasmic nirvanic half hour speech?”

I cannot imagine what voters would be interested to sit down and watch an infomercial on Obama.....After returning from a visit to a battleground state (Las Vegas, NV) last night.....the poor voters there are sick and tired of the ads, the radio in the car....and they will not be tuning in. I cannot even imagine the other battleground states “wanting” to watch this bozo. If anything...this 30 minute ad could backfire on the Obama camp. It looks desperate, it looks like it is attempting to buy this election....and America is smarter than that.
