That’s it??
Why aren’t they “naming names” and listing Zero’s voting record?

Not to worry. Anyone who is smart enough to find their polling place knows which politician Chuck is talking about. This combined with other ads which name names, will be very effective.

I believe they have to stay issue-oriented and are NOT allowed to campaign for or against specific candidates.
To: scottinoc
Zero has taught me not to underestimate the abject stupidity of the people.
Hope you’re right.
Wish I’d seen the other ads but where I live, everybody watches TV with a rifle on their lap so I reckon they didn’t bother running any.

dumb ad IMO... hopefully they don’t waste too much money on this one... the ad with the kids at home and Obama voting record is much more effective
To: Salamander
Thats it?? Why arent they naming names and listing Zeros voting record?
To call this ad underwhelming would be an overstatement.

Have already seen it once this morning. Oh how I wih they would’ve named names.

Guns. I got em. I know how to use them. My father taught me to shoot. My uncle Sam taught me to use many different types, how to defend and how to go on the offense with various weapons. Note to Dimocrats: you want them, you will have to come TAKE them. Per my president Heston: FROM MY COLD DEAD HAND!

I watched the ad and it is a waste. Why create a general ad when you have opponents willing to lie outright about their positions?

Check out the blog comments on the vid. Some REAL NASTY mouths from the opposers of freedom. They're flaming.
I do believe they are getting downright scaaaaaarrrrred!
They certainly have learned well to spew the vitriol of the man they support who says residents of small-town America "cling to guns or religion or antipathy to people who aren't like them."

Meanwhile the NRA has endorsed the democrat congressman in my district even though the Republican challenger has a strong anti gun control stance.

I agree, what a waste of time and money. It’s like SNL satire.

Just FYI:
Midwest outdoorsman Tony Dean, describing himself as a lifelong Republican, is endorsing Obama in local radio ads in Iowa, South Dakota, and Minnesota claiming Hussein will protect guns for hunting and personal protection.
There’s got to be more to it for Dean to be lying so openly.
