THE POLL: Virginia Commonwealth University, presidential race in Virginia among likely voters (13 electoral votes).
THE NUMBERS: Barack Obama 51 percent, John McCain 40 percent.
OF INTEREST: Obama's strongest regions are northern Virginia and Hampton Roads, the latter dominated by military interests where McCain, a former Navy pilot, should be strong. Obama dominated among respondents who regarded the economy and health care as the most important issues. McCain was strong among people whose foremost concern was terrorism.
THE DETAILS: Conducted by telephone Oct. 20-22 by VCU's Center for Public Policy of 817 likely voters. The margin of sampling error plus or minus 4 percentage points.

THE POLL: Washington Post, presidential race in Virginia among likely voters.
THE NUMBERS: Barack Obama 52 percent, John McCain 44 percent.

When the final vote count is over and the Obama supporters realize that they have lost....they will continue to believe that the polls were right. In all states and races.
They will then claim (once again) that the elections were stolen by the right.
I truly believe those that are predicting rioting after the elections.....
Actually, I think Bush won Virginia by 9 points. It was 54-45, if I recall correctly. And in the mid-term election of 2006, with Jim Webb running as a conservative, with George Allen being torn to shreds over “macaca”, and with the GOP voters disheartened and unenthusiastic, Webb only won by a fraction of a point.
This is media preemptive salvo to explain away the voter fraud - by matching poll fraud.
I’m buying two bottles of Champagne, one for Ohio and one for Virginia.
I thought Bush won in 2004 by 8% - 9%. Also, this poll is 5 days old, Zogby had O up 12% 5 days ago.
If you can stomach the thought- Imagine that Obama was elected.
The highest approval rating that he would EVER see would be about 51-52%.. And it’s downhill from election day.
There is a solid base of about 48% that strongly disaprove of the man and that will not change. As he sits, that disaproval number will grow. Next we start to tie Obama, Pelosi and Reid together for 2010 elections. We need a group called “Code Yellow” that appears at all speeches appearances etc.. and wears yellow- the color of cowards and hold up yellow signs that say LIAR, MARXIST, RACIST
behind these characters at every opportunity.
Poll shows Obama considered a major league elitist @sshole with communist leanings.
Polls are garbage alot of the times. University polls are even worse. Why? Because most of the time you have college students asking the questions. And if believe the hype, most college students support Obama.
So after factoring in all the illegals, dead people and cartoon characters that will be voting I predict a win for J 144 to 93.
+ or - 8 points.
...meaningless information. I don’t know how many times we have to hear this dribble...these polls are absoutely worthless...
Yea...Obama is basically like a brand new car...never driven—no scratches, dents, or blemishes...the minute he drives off the lot (is elected president) he depreciates in value....the “change” element is toast at that point because with a complete democrat control of Washington ANY problems will be theirs and theirs alone.
A poll without internals from the AP means the piece of paper that article is written on will be used as toilet paper.
McCain is not Bush!
:)
What keeps the young poll questioners from lying about the data?
I keep hearing the overwhelming poll questioners are younger black females...what keeps them from being truthful?
Poll demonstration of Saul Alinski, Rules for Radicals, Rule 1:
RULE 1: Power is not only what you have, but what the enemy thinks you have.
Here, demoralize enemy and try to get “bandwagon” voters by pretending to be in the lead. The Obama camp follows the “Rule for Radicals” book the the letter.
Nonsense, the lib media will dummy up the polls then as they are doing now. They will put out any results they want to.

See ya there! Fire up for socialism.
