Were calling on LGF readers to contact the Los Angeles Times and their advertisers to demand that the Times release the videotape they are concealing, showing Barack Obama at a party with radical Palestinian activists, Bill Ayers, and Bernardine Dohrn, being praised by former PLO spokesman Rashid Khalidi.
Theyre stonewalling, and giving people who contact them the runaround.
Please note: the existence of the tape is not in doubt; Peter Wallsten of the Los Angeles Times explicitly wrote that the Times had a copy of the tape, in an article about Obamas ties to Rashid Khalidi: Allies of Palestinians see a friend in Barack Obama.
At Khalidis going-away party in 2003, the scholar lavished praise on Obama, telling the mostly Palestinian American crowd that the state senator deserved their help in winning a U.S. Senate seat. You will not have a better senator under any circumstances, Khalidi said.
The event was videotaped, and a copy of the tape was obtained by The Times.
The Los Angeles Times is hiding a potentially explosive video of a presidential candidate, during the final days of an election.
This is brazen, unethical media malfeasance.
Dont let them get away with it.
Contact the Los Angeles Times.
Contact their advertisers.
The media is not supposed to “suppress” the news. They are supposed to report the news. Just shows how far they have sunk. If they relent and give it out at the end of the week it will be to late for the information to get out to the voters majority of the voters.
One word would do
SCUM
I could swear I have seen this video. Look elsewhere, LAT would not have been the ones filming if it was in Chicago.....WGN?
Your suppression of this video is beneath contempt. A democratic society demands the free exchange of ideas — as “journalists” you should know this. The people of this democracy deserve better from a group that we have granted special rights and protections. The role of the First Amendment isn't to protect journalists; it is to protect the rights of ALL people to have access to information they need to participate in the democratic process. By suppressing this video — you subvert everything the first amendment is about. For shame.
bttt
Just called them, they direct you to “leave a message” so I did. Asked themw hen they stopped being in the news business and became part of the censorship business.
I just left a voice message for Peter Wallsten demanding he release the tapes. He is in the Washington Bureau of the LA Times and he wrote the original story about the dinner honoring the PLO leader.
His phone number is 202-824-8376. His Cell number is 202-441-1940. Call him and demand he release the incriminating tapes of Obama with Rashid Khalidi.
The media has no problem releasing info on Joe the plumber. Their right to privacy is now null and void.

here is the text of my message
have grown up reading the Los Angeles Times. I have watched this once great paper of record turn into nothing more than a tabloid rag sheet. Again and again, your paper has violated the principals of journalist integrity.
I am always amazed at the audacity of your paper to purport to be an unbiased source of information when it is nothing more than a public relations arm of the Democratic Party. However the latest example of the non release of a video the paper is sitting on of Barack Obama is reprehensible and one in which the paper will never recover.
This election has revealed in no uncertain terms the weakness and utter corruption of our nations' newspapers. The Los Angeles Times will be out of business within a few years but the everlasting damage the paper has done to the profession of journalism will never be repaired. Please for the sake of the last shred of dignity this paper once held, release the video of our soon to be president Barack Obama toasting a PLO leader at a party in his honor. The public has a right to know about this event. Even more than we needed to know about the plumber in Ohio's tax situation and Sarah Palins' family issues.
One can only wonder the reasons for it not being released. At the very least the paper needs to be transparent about it's reasons for protecting their candidate.
PS if anyone needs help forming a letter, please let me know.
I am sure they are penning the latest anti-Palin piece.
When you contact the newspapers remind them that under a communist government ALL the newspapers are shutdown and all the media outlets taken over. Not that it would be a big change or anything, but I guess they would have to take paycuts. :)
btt — this is important freepers — this story alone could turn the Jewish vote in a HUGE HUGE way — making Florida a much easier case for McCain — and even helping in states like Ohio, PA and VA (North Eastern VA)
IMHO — getting this tape out there is the singel most useful thing we can pursue btwn now and the election — the tape DEFINATELY exists, it ios VERY damaging and we know (at least one group) who has it...
forget birth certificates, Michelle Obama tapes and the like — they may be real stories (i for one believe)— but this is the the one we can get in the next 8 days — so lets push!
Bill OReilly is on this. Stated just now that he has contacted LA Times and is looking into pressing them to release the video. I am not much of a OReilly fan, but hey, he might have some connections.
The question is who owes Hillary at the L.A. Times and when do they comply and release this Sunday or Monday just like the GWB DWI thing in 2000.....
Done!
Thank you!
I’ve written to the mayor and might even dare to bring it up to the Secret Service. The city is setting up an image of being intolerant and punitive against women with differing viewpoints.
oops. I was responding to another ping about Sarah Palin being hung in effigy in West Hollywood and somehow my reply ended up here.
With La Times endorsing Obama now after supporting Hilliary Clinton, it makes you wonder why they wont release the tape. Could this be the infamous whitey tape? What could be so bad that they are not releasing the tape? If you ask me, Obama must have said some pretty terrible things about White America on that tape. That is the only reason why they would not release it!
WHAT ARE YOU HIDING OBAMA????
Obama went to La Times I believe Obama was given the tape when he was there and now it has been destroyed.
Hey Michelle is this where you made the racist whitey remarks?
