ROMNEY ANTI-PALIN

Former Mitt Romney presidential campaign staffers, some of whom are currently working for Sen. John McCain and Gov. Sarah Palin's bid for the White House, have been involved in spreading ant-Palin spin to reporters, seeking to diminish her standing after the election. "Sarah Palin is a lightweight, she won't be the first, not even the third, person people will think of when it comes to 2012," says one former Romney aide, now working for McCain-Palin. "The only serious candidate ready to challenge to lead the Republican Party is Mitt Romney. He's in charge on November 5th."

"If this is true, Romney will never get my vote.

Me too. I actually was thinking Romney/Palin would have been a great ticket.....hopefully these are just rumors.

So you selectively believe the part that a Romney supporter said this. I don’t even believe that - I believe NOTHING I hear from now until election. The forces of evil are hard at work today & I’m not going to give them an inch.

"Romney dropped out for party loyalty."

This must be a Romney supporter MLK-moment.
Romney only suspended his campign and did not drop out.

Romney refused to help the GOP candidate in Mass against Kerry.
But then, his helping of the DNC (including gay marriage,
fasicst socialized health care, gun control, etc. etc)
is nothing new, is it?

Same old Mitt/Mormon haters. It's so transparent, it's disgusting... Every other rumor is pounced upon as lies... Once a rumor comes up about Mitt, they hang onto it like a life-saver...

How pathetic... The MSM plays them like the fools they are.

>> So you selectively believe the part that a Romney supporter said this.

I believe a Romney supporter could have said this. My point stands, regardless of whether this particular incident is accurate.

>> I don’t even believe that - I believe NOTHING I hear from now until election.

Convenient. Then why read the story?

>> The forces of evil are hard at work today & I’m not going to give them an inch.

The forces of evil couldn’t care less about Mitt Romney right now ...

If this is true, Romney will NEVER get a bid for the White House. Hmmmmm, come to think of it, he didn’t stand a chance this time. People know a used car salesman when they see one.

The more we learn about the so called aids in the McCain campaign, it is a wonder this train ever got out of the station.

God Bless Sarah Palin

Ingraham just called for the firing of a Palin aide named Heather Wallace? I’m not sure thats the exact name, but this aide has been the handler who put Palin on Couric and other bad moves. Is this the same blonde chick that Ingraham had an abortion showdown with on TV?

-—maybe Ingraham is correct about her
-—I’m not convinced these ‘leaks’ are real, sounds like media manipulation of the electorate
-—now is not the time to do the circular firing squad, time to close ranks for one more week

Mitt was on Fox and Friends this morning and he was very postitive about Sarah. The main stream media is putting out all kinds of trash to discourage and divide Republican voters. Mitt Romney is a good man and has been loyal to the Republican Party.

I also don’t believe that the McCain campaign staffers are calling Sarah a diva, etc. Another effort to divide/discourage R voters. Sarah is awesome and I’m sure they know she is a strong asset to the campaign.

Even Fox news has been negative about McCain/Palin campaign. Just noticed they showed Sarah speaking at an event yesterday but the background signs “McCain / Palin” were blurred out of the picture. Sounds petty but thought it was odd.....never noticed this at Obama events.

>> Same old Mitt/Mormon haters.

I like Mitt (voted for him in the primary), and have no particular problem with Mormons.

That some of his followers are excessively devoted is unquestionable, however.

Who has that picture of the Today show where they held up signs, “Don’t believe the Liberal Media!?”

I don’t believe them or any of these stories. It seems to me it’s another one of those “McCain is pulling out of Michigan or Colorado” stories.

I hope that it’s not true.

Romney is a good guy, but he’s a flawed candidate in many ways. I think he has a lot to offer, but not as a presidential candidate for the GOP.

Unfortunately, I can see disgruntled former Romney aides leaking this crap to the media to try and diminish Palin right now. If it is true, and Romney and his guys are really attempting to do this, he is finished, IMO.

Except for one thing.. about Romney...

If you can be successful in Massachusetts politically.. there is something wrong with you politically.. Considering who the people there vote for.. The people in Mass.. know a socialist when they see one.. -AND- will elect him/her..

Romney has ten foot poles marks all over him..

His campaign is shut down. He has no staffers.

If McCain is having problems with his staff, it does not come as a surprise. It's happened time and time again. His staff is imploding for the third time this year. What else is new?

What I would love to ask some people on this forum, is one simple question.

Just who the hell are you to espouse so much vitriol against a man who gave up much of his personal fortune, and exposed himself to the political process in order to help America achieve it's potential?

He happens to be a Mormon. What is it that Mormons did to you? What right do you claim as a Christian to be so vindictive as to continue this charade that you somehow benefit from the continuing political destruction of this man in spite of the fact that he has withdrawn from the race, and has created a political PAC to support the republican party. Why don't you want that to succeed???????

Who the hell are you? What is your intent?

If this is what the GOP is to be in the future, I want out! In fact, I am out!

Have a nice day. (sarc)

What is the point of this in-fighting now? I'm with you....this is simply unhelpful. We should refrain from spending a precious pre-election minute worrying about our supposed enemies within since we have a host of clearly identified people who hope to do us harm we can be working together to defeat.
