It's all about the money, folks! - - And that's why we need to joing the Boycott against Hallmark Cards, too, because of their "gay wedding" greeting cards!!! Everybody should sign the petition at http://hallmarkboycott.com, so we can express our outrage to them, too. It's high time we take a stand in this culture war because the stakes are just too high to give the liberals a free pass any longer. If we don't stand up to the left on marriage - - in elections, in ballot initiatives like Prop8, in business, in our churches and in the culture at large - - then our children will grow up being forced to embrace all types of immorality in the name of so-called "love" and "marriage." Hallmark is one of those iconic institutions (just like McDonalds was) that we MUST not allow to take sides against God's design for the family. I urge everyone to tell Hallmark you're taking your business elsewhere if they don't reverse course. |
I hope Californians remember that four unelected lawyers decided to impose their opinions on them and caused all of this incredible expense.
This Prop 8 thing is a result of the total failure of the California Republican Party to matter. Our party bosses have missed the major issues and have lost so much ground that this is where we are.
Since California’s courts made gay marriage legal, about 11,000 couples have homosexually “tied the knot”. That’s 22,000 people out of nearly 40,000,000 in the state.
Frankly, I just don’t care that much. Our party never misses an opportunity to squander it’s moral authority on something so inconsequential.
When NAMBLA is running day care centers, I will give a rat’s ass. Until then, my Libertarian bones won’t ache one bit. This is all a huge PR blunder for the CA Republican Party.
CA Republicans are outnumbered in the legislation - Republicans can’t manage to get their point across when in the majority (judging by the federal congresses past), how can a minority in a state full of liberal wackos do well?

There certainly is potential for some pretty funny humor cards. A veritable frontier.
