California has begun early voting already as well as mail-in balloting. The number of people who have gone in to vote in person has been extensive. The results so far prove what we had always suspected. The polls are being proven as totally unreliable. Although the results of early balloting have not been disclosed,of course, how many Republicans and how many Democrats have voted has been revealed.

Maybe early voting when all is said and done, and absentee ballads are counted, favors Republicans in the past. However, what were the numbers a week into early voting 4 years ago?

Republicans used to do very well with early/absentee voting in CA. In fact, the whole “Bradley Effect” thing got started with Bradley winning on election day at the ballot box, but losing big in the absentee vote. That was 1982.

Over the years since, that advantage has wilted away.

The question still stands. How reputable is the reporter? Yes, it is good news but is it TRUE NEWS? This is a real problem with the internet these “reporters” are coming out of the wood work.

I think obama (small o means he is just one of many gods) is running scared in California. California went for Hillary and there are many PUMAs here who are disgusted with him. He cannot ASSUME to have California wrapped up. Palin came out for a stadium appearance; the Republicans have not bothered with California in I don’t know how many elections, but THIS election they were willing to come out.

There are a lot of quiet Republicans here, just lying low, no signs up, planning to VOTE however. And there will be a huge turnout for Yes on 8, who I assume will also vote Republican.

It just could be very interesting out here.

It would be helpful to have those historical norms, but you are right too. Where is the groundswell for Zero?

Would you speculate that the Barr and Paul vote will be the difference? ... Otherwise it is not significant to this particualr election, just business as usual in CA, leftafornia.

In California, how do you know whether a voter is Republican or Democrat?

LOL! Excellent point!

My sister-in-law’s Mom lives in California and has always voted Democrat. Not this time. For the first time in her life she is voting Republican.

Right. I was just thinking, wouldn't it be horribly embarrassing for us Michiganders if Michigan were the only state that went for Obama?
