We have two choices if we lose this election.
We either must reinvigorate the Republican Party and the Conservative Principles it one stood for.
Or perhaps the time has come to close the door on the Republican Party and start a new Conservative Party where the Principles of Conservatism espoused by Buckley, Goldwater, and Reagan can guide us.
Liberals, RINO’s and Moderate Centrists can please go somewhere else.

"...Or perhaps the time has come to close the door on the Republican Party and start a new Conservative Party where the Principles of Conservatism espoused by Buckley, Goldwater, and Reagan can guide us. I hold little hope for the Libertarian party getting off the ground in the foreseeable future. When McPalin wins in November, the hope I have is for a Palin/Thompson or equally conservative ticket in 2012. McCain couldn't, wouldn't, shouldn't run for re-election and Sarah Palin is our true hope for a new start to a new conservative party in 2012.

We need Conservative people who truly believe in the principles of their convictions.
If this means a few years 'wandering in the wilderness", then so be it. Remember, despite all the lying media, the finger pointing of the unpatriotic opposition and weak willed public, it is the GOP's abandonment of it's core beliefs that got us in trouble.
If ours is the right path(individualism, small government, responsibility, etc.) and socialism is doomed to failure, people will see this eventually and the GOP will be back in power.
Hold on to your seats in the meanwhile.

Reagan was elected with a broad coalition which included RINOs and moderate centrists.
Without those RINOs and centrists, you haven't got a prayer of winning a national election - not ever.
