DALLAS (Reuters) - If Republican John McCain loses the November 4 election as most polls predict, his party may be in for a rough period of soul searching.
Analysts and some party activists say losing the White House will highlight the pitfalls of relying too heavily on a narrow foundation of conservative Christians whose support has nonetheless become crucial to Republican electoral success.
But some social conservatives say a victory for Democrat Barack Obama, whom they regard as an "ultra-liberal," will energize them for the 2010 congressional "mid-term" races and the 2012 White House battle.

I agree with you here. If hussein takes the election, the lefty euphoria will wear off after about a year once they realize that their politically correct social experiment has gone awry, and their chosen one is the empty suit we all said he was.
The 2010 mid-term elections will be a repeat of 1994, where Republicans take control of the House and Senate this time around, effectively rendering hussein powerless, assuming the GOP gets back to conservative basics on spending (or lack thereof).
Of course; by this time iran may have already made a move on Israel and possibly into Iraq. hussein (in an effort to please his lefty base and the europeans) will stand down and allow it all to happen.
How the hell did Mc Cain become our choice anyway ? He was written off practically , next thing I knew he was our candidate.The GOP has let me down time and time again over the last 4 years.We need a patriot party of true American statesmen who are in it for the best interest of conservative America and not in office to make personal fortunes.
We were weak.
We lost.
Quit whining and get behind McCain/Palin.

Look at the results my friend, If the Republican party can't beat Barack Obama they can't beat anybody.

oBAMA with a Den controlled house and Senate can do SERIOUS damage to the country in 4 years. Everyone is concentrating on the economy and forgetting Islam at the back door. They will hit hard and Barry will shit himself not knowing what to do . I see bad times ahead .
Even listening to Larry Kudlow yesterday was depressing, he sounded like doom and gloom....usually he’s like Peter Pan....all happy and positive.....I hope Mac does pull it off.....

Regardless of the outcome fundamental changes are needed so we can avoid weak candidates in the future. That’s not just us whiners” That’s Rush Limbaugh talking.

Time to expel the phonies and the moles
I’ve been saying that on here for 2 years now and almost got banned for it .I wouldn’t give you 2 cents for the Republican party right now. They don’t represent me either.
Where do we start folks?
The first “Tea Party” should be something like this:
Designate a week for the “Tea Party” and all conservatives take that week as “vacation”.
This could demonstrate the Obama impact on American productivity.
Prepare to defend this nation in every way from a complete and all out attack by Obama and the Marxists in Congress.
All I can say is the people of today are not the people of yesterday. Obama will have control of all the branches. Both houses are on board with him.
He has people in place. 80% of the people did not want this bail out. What did they do? They passed in anyway. They will do want they want. Did americans take to the streets after that vote? Nope.
I talk to many people. Not just like minded people like myself or you. If the trains run on time they don’t care. In the revolutionary war there were more people on the sidelines than actually fought in that glorious war. It is truly a miracle that we won that war.
Just the fact that this election is so darn close like this tells me that there are many many americans that don’t see the forest through the trees.
To me this election is about Republic or Socialism. We are at a cross roads. I have never ever seen an election like this in my lifetime.
If OBamBam is elected, expect a Hugo Chavez like behavior over the next 4 years. He will gradually do everything he can to establish himself as the permanent dictator. It won’t be fun and it won’t be pretty.
What’s next?
Four years of watching Democrats slowly come to the realization that it wasn’t GW Bush that made them miserable. It was their own pathetic lives.
