Florida TV reporter Barbara West asked hard hitting questions of Joe Biden in an interview broadcast yesterday.
Biden was shocked when asked if Obama's spread the wealth plan was Marxist.
The four minute interview was not the typical softball CNN-MSNBC-ABC-CBS-NYT-LAT-WAPO-AP questions.
The Orlando Sentinel reports the Obama campaign was furious at West and called her "unprofessional" and "combative".
Biden also specifically denied Obama's plan was to "spread the wealth," a direct contradiction of what Obama famously told Joe the Plumber.

Biden is brain damages goods and shouldn't be a heart beat away from the presidency. He shows it daily. He needs to go retire.
I don’t know....it was different than the ass kissing the rats usually get but she asked the questions and then Biden delivered his B.S. without much challenge.
She wasn’t combative at all IMHO.

Amazing how the leftists can dish it out 24/7/365 and when one reporter turns the tables they suffer a meltdown.

What he actually means is: Hey, Do ya know who this is, I don’t get asked questions like this. I get the free pass here. who are ya workin’ for? Did they not prep you, are ya new? Whatta think, I’m Palin or something. Just Tilt your pretty little head like couric and blink alot.
Bravo to Barbara West, Wow, if all the reporters served the public, acted as a check on power, fulfilled their role as the fourth estate, this would be a much different election. The media is supposed to be our watch dog, they are supposed to question the people in power because it is almost impossible for the voter to gain access to our leaders.
Yet with the exception of a mildly tough O’Reilly interview of Barack Obama, there have been no hard questions lobbed at Barack Obama or Joe Biden.
We have had to wait for a citizen, Joe the Plumber Wurzelbacher, to get Obama off of his talking points, and now we get the first true tough interview of this election year, and we had to wait until October to get it.
Look at how stunned Joe Biden is to get actual tough questions. Look at how smarmy and condescending he gets because a reporter dared to ask him a question. He can’t believe it, he asks if they are real questions, then he chastises her, declaring he doesn’t know who wrote her questions. And Barack Obama supposedly used good judgement in picking Joe Biden.
Was that condescending or what? Was he trying to say that a woman was not capable of thinking independently and asking some real questions instead of serving the softballs he is used to?
I am curious, does Barbara West have a reputation for being a tough questioner, I have never heard of her before, give her the Meet The Press job. Amazing, I’m stunned because a reporter actually acted like a responsible reporter.
We live in strange times when the Obama/Biden ticket gets possibly 2 or 3 tough interviews in the entire election.
I can’t think of any other interviewers that asked such direct questions of obama or biden.
Her questions were spot on, his answers were boilerplate, and the changing look in his eyes was priceless.
So refreshing to see a tv journalist do their job!

I talked to a guy in the newsroom and when I mentioned the Obama campaign was already whining about the interview, he chuckled and said “it just seemed like obvious questions ...”Please send her an “atta girl!”
