An exclusive interview: 'If people only knew how frugal we are'
Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin insisted in an interview with the Tribune on Thursday that she did not accept $150,000 worth of designer clothes from the Republican Party and "that is not who we are."
"That whole thing is just, bad!" she said. "Oh, if people only knew how frugal we are.
"It's kind of painful to be criticized for something when all the facts are not out there and are not reported," said Palin, saying the clothes are not worth $150,000 and were bought for the Republican National Convention. Still, she has been wearing pricey clothes at campaign events this fall. She said they will be given back, auctioned off or sent to charity. Most of them, she said, haven't even left the belly of her campaign plane.

Actually, the “dress” is a kuspuk. It is a cloth “parka” that is big enough to wear over a fur parka. Eskimo women wear them to keep their fur parkas clean. It’s not really a dress, it’s more like a smock or a bib apron. Kuspuks can be as plain or as fancy as desired. They are distinguised from parkas by the skirt.
Like the Great Rushbo might say, “I’m a man! It’s an eskimo dress!” LOL!!!
That’s the same as the Obama campaign. Probably Axelrod’s staff working with the MSM. Axlerod certainly knew that the MSM would go after this full bore since it hurts the Republican ticket and Palin in particular. They want her destroyed at all costs. Not just for this election but as a warning to all other women who stray from the plantation.
Look at the guy in Florida - he spent 170 grand getting the clothes off his slut, then paying her to keep her mouth shut. Jesse Jackson and his babie's mama - he bought her a $300,000 house. Spitzer - he spent 80 grand with hookers.
The list goes on and on, and they're ALL rats!

May I introduce you to the MSM, Governor?
On WCCO TV News Minneapolis... I saw the newscast a day or two before it broke and just knew this was coming. My first thought though was at least MN benefited from the sales.
Here’s my response to all this BS blathering about SPs clothing budget:

I read the entire interview. I think it is a bad move to be talking about a new entitlement spending...not now. The market is going to fall bigtime today...bad day. It will be bad news for folks....
Where did that $150,000 story originate?
