McCain has cut into Obama's lead for a second day and is now just 1.1 points behind. The spread was 3.7 Wednesday and 6.0 Tuesday. The Republican is making headway with middle- and working- class voters, and has surged 10 points in two days among those earning between $30,000 and $75,000. He has also gone from an 11-point deficit to a 9-point lead among Catholics.

damn right!!!!
we have been rejoicing all day on it!
Just let those “undecideds” break hard for McCain/Palin and Obambi is toast..... not saying I’m tooo confident, just HOPEFUL.
I can believe most of the numbers they report except for that 74% for McCain among 18-24 year olds?? Can’t be. Please tell me that is a typo and we can believe this poll. Otherwise I would reject it as being seriously flawed.
Now we’ll see if tomorrow is THE day that McCain is shown as the leader in this poll....
It’s not a typo. They explain that this age group is severely undersampled. That’s why the asterisk is there.

Maybe these kids aren’t as stupid as people think.
Maybe some white kids don’t want a black President.
Maybe some kids are christians and don’t want a baby killer President.
Maybe some kids are worried about the war and don’t want Obama surrendering to terrorist.
Look at the data again and you'll see an asterik next to the 18-24 year old age group. Then scoll down to the bottom of the data and the asterik says: "Age 18-24 has much flucuation due to small sample size"
I don’t trust any poll. I do have hope that those who pay federal income taxes are starting to realize that a President Obama with a Democrat controlled Congress will royally screw them.
Seriously, they’re thinking about getting rid of the 401(k) deduction and forcing us to invest in government debt instead of equities. Yeah, that’s a great plan for the economy and for the taxpayers of America.
I also would hope that the taxpayers will see through this arbitrary $250K threshold for tax increases. If he’s talking about raising somebody’s taxes today, it’s highly likely he’ll be raising yours tomorrow.
and maybe these young people are just as worried about
our democracy under the thug , Obama.
RACIST!!!
whatever it takes , they are carving “b” into faces now.
McCain’s got the Big Mo.
I remember a few weeks ago when there was a YouTube video of “the bunker” where Hitler whines about Palin kicking his butt.
Seems so appropriate now.
“Carribu Barbie” punks the “chosen one”.
its a pretty small sample group
so its going to be a bit skewed...
other poll demograhic internals are showing many younger voters are starting to lean mccain.
Joe the plumber, he will go down in history.
Do they really want this guy to be POTUS? Do they really want him with the keys to the kingdom, the launch codes, the football, our national security secrets?
Good God, think about that. A naive, black racist, Marxist traitor with our national secrets and nuclear launch codes? God help us if this pathetic Marxist traitor doofus wins.
Obama is the end of freedom, America, Western civilization and the world. Doomsday and the Apocalypse all rolled into one.
“other poll demograhic internals are showing many younger voters are starting to lean mccain.”
I hope that is right. Why such a small sample for that age group? I would think that would make the poll less accurate. Maybe it’s time for McCain or one of the indy groups to run an ad saying only one party proposed a draft in the last 4 years. It was the Dems, and their hero Charlie Rangel!
McCain seems to be closing strong, but if he doesn’t answer Hussein’s prime time network TV infomercials, he’s finished.
