We should always be wary of a false report but the refusal of medical treatment doesn’t establish that. One assumes the police could see her scratched face, and if she was kicked and punched there might have been visible bruising.
Could she have faked it? Sure so let’s wait till we hear more.
Agreed. Why would anyone call the police to report a robbery, but then refuse medical treatment if they were punched, kicked, and had a “B” carved or scratched on their face with a knife? It makes no sense.
Very likely she has a brother or boyfriend who will take care of any retributions that need to be dispensed to this attacker thereby saving the local citizens from another tax increase.
