DENVER – Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin describes herself as a "hard-core pro-lifer" and expresses confidence that in spite of disheartening polls, "putting this in God's hands, that the right thing for America will be done at the end of the day on Nov. 4."
In an interview with evangelical leader James Dobson that aired Wednesday, Palin said she thought Republican presidential candidate John McCain would implement the GOP platform if elected — "I do, from the bottom of my heart" — but McCain doesn't support the platform on three issues important to evangelicals: abortion, gay marriage and embryonic stem cell research.

Christians of all kinds are praying that God will honor those who honor him. Be yourself, Sarah. On Nov. 4 we will find that “the base you’ve been playing to” is bigger than a lot of people thought. (And keep talking about JTP.)
This is one of the main reasons I like Mrs. Palin.
She gets it.
Most people take this phrase, and they think she's chalking the outcome up to 'fate'. Up to the 'whims of luck'.
No, she gets it. God IS in control. He isn't some helpless old man sitting out on a rock a billion light years away. HE IS, and cares for HIS people. HE might indeed take us out to the woodshed this election - but it HIS will and we know that all that HE does is good. Until then - pray for HIS mercy and HIS blessings.

Yeah, like hardcore pro-life is a bad thing. Beats the heck out of hardcore pro-death.
I did not hear her say “hard core pro life”. But even if she did, that’s a plus, not a minus.
The Left is downplaying their former claim that it is charitable to pay higher taxes for socialism.
The Left is also downplaying their former claim that it is patriotic to pay higher taxes.
The Democrats have to lie. The only thing they are consistent on is that Americans will be paying higher taxes, they still lie about which pay grade the higher taxes will kick in at.

Absolutely true. Through Paul he tells us that “ALL that will live godly in Christ Jesus SHALL suffer persecution.” ...He didn’t say some would ‘maybe’ suffer, but that ALL SHALL.
That doesn’t mean that all who are trying to pattern their lives after Christ would always be perfect.... we all stumble at times...make choices that in retrospect we wish we hadn’t.... but if we, like Sarah Palin, attempt to pattern our lives and choices in a godly way... the rest of the world WILL hate us.
I see so much of that in the dim’s and the looney left’s and the drive by’s attacks on Sarah’s family and character. We must all remain alert to the real evil around us... and be sure we get OFF our duffs and VOTE on election day.
There is so much at stake in this election. I view this election as one of our rapidly diminishing opportunities to push back at the evil in our midst.
This election IS in God’s hands, but His followers need to respond to Him and get this job done.

I know exactly what prayer warriors are. A bunc of ‘em were praying for me during a heart attack thanks to my cousin. I’m still here! And by the way, it’s not just pentacostals who have prayer warriors.
It’s so uplifting to know we’ve got a VEEP candidate who believes so strongly. And I’ll bet she let McCain know that when he vetted her, too. And it’ll be wonderful when this woman is VEEP and later PRESIDENT.
