In the five years of her collegiate career, spanning four universities in three states, Palin left behind few traces. Not many professors or students even remember her. (read the rest at the link)

Exactly! That was my point to the LA Times!
Oh, additionally...
Robin Abcarian?
Lefty. Not the brightest bulb, either.
(I think SoCal Freepers familiar with her work will back me on this.)
Thanks. Good article ... no, I hadn’t seen this! Maybe I should send it to the LA Times (chuckle).
But it was right before she went back to Alaska and was promptly hired to broadcast sports on a TV station?
Yeah, no one notices her anywhere.
A whole bunch of Pakistanis and cokeheads remember Obama. Did anyone visit Columbia to interview them?
Yet, not one single person remembers Obama at Columnbia.
In Obama's college years, he was confused as a half black, half white male and trying to find his identity, he started to snort coke. This was a gateway drug to his finding his real "high" on Black Muslim Theology. Having been molested and indoctrinated by his mentor Frank Davis, a commie pedophile that plied him with drugs and alcohol as a teen, he now looked to Malcolm X for his roots. It was then he changed his name from Barry to Barack to imitate Cassius Clay. Now he finally found himself in Radical Black nationalism and was a complete black man. He studied Saul Alinsky and Cone and other radicals to get himself completely pi$$ed off to make the cocaine soothe his anger. That way he could blame whitey for his addictions without guilt for himself. Now his benefactor, the Muslim terrorist that paid his way to Harvard, could start to call in his chits to start him "normalizing" his Muslim roots. Being a communist Muslim is sort of a contradiction and requires a choice sooner or later because Communists are, after all, Godless. He decided to play both groups as suckers to get what he wants from life. This would explain how he claims to be a Christian, but follows Wright and Farrakhan, and claims to be a Democrat while running for office on the "New Party" label. After 20 years of grooming being exposed to some of the most radical elements of society, Malcolm X, Frank, Alinsky, Wright, Farrakhan, New Party activists, he is elected to State office. He was able to vote to kill babies born alive and vote "present" hundreds of times, because being black, from the Bill Ayres neighborhood just means you can literally get away with murder and still be elected. The culmination of his "coming out" however has to be after being elected as a US Senator, he was able to visit Kenya and support a Muslim terrorist that campaigned on Sharia Law being forced on the country and signing an agreement with AL Quida to resist the US That he realized he was "The One". Odinga lost the election, yet still won by burning Christians in their homes and churches, and no one at home seemed to care or even notice Obama supported a terrorist. Obama now realized that he could run on any platform he chose and Satan would blind the people and make them faint in his presence. He could say we need to behead Christians to save the US and the throngs would cheer and shout for our blood. Just like they do in Iran, Kenya, Indonesia, and the South side of Chicago.
The end.
Exactly! That was the point my sarcastic email was making to the LA Times. We sure haven’t seen anything about Obama’s mysterious college years!
"She was so 'steady Eddie,' so rock solid," Hagerty said. "She didn't make a big deal out of things like other people did. She talked about politics and history and what was going on in the world. I was like, whatever, I don't care about that stuff."
Gee, but I thought Sarah was dumb and doesn't read the papers?
Great! Sent it to the LA and NY Times. I’m sure they’d be happy to have the information since they have been unable to find anything on Obama!!!!
In her biography it said she was a voracious book & newspaper reader, even as a child. Modeling the example of her teacher father, she enjoyed learning and current events.

WASHINGTON — Barack Obama’s entry into politics came on a winter morning at the white-columned Harvard Law Review building when, about 2 a.m., a deeply divided editorial staff chose him as the first African American to lead the prestigious publication.

Occidental recalls ‘Barry’ Obama

Memories of 1980 at Occidental College’s Haines Hall have the standard fragments of the era: stereos blasting the B-52’s through the dorm, pot-fueled bull sessions about the revival of draft registration, late-night cramming for economics exams.
That otherwise private nostalgia took on public significance this month when a former Haines Hall resident from Hawaii known at the time as Barry announced that he was forming an exploratory committee to run for president of the United States.
U.S. Sen. Barack Obama is usually described as an alumnus of Columbia University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree, and of Harvard Law School.

DEMOCRATIC NATIONAL CONVENTION
In search of identity

Four years ago, Barack Obama introduced himself to America by painting a picture of a country that was united, somehow, in spite of itself.
The pundits, he said in the keynote address to the Democratic convention, like to “slice and dice” the country: red states for Republicans, blue states for Democrats.
“But I’ve got news for them too: We worship an awesome God in the blue states, and we don’t like federal agents poking around our libraries in the red states. We coach Little League in the blue states, and yes, we’ve got some gay friends in the red states.”
His task that night was to ready the crowd for the presidential nominee, John F. Kerry, but in the end his words were most memorable for an argument that challenged the partisan divide and was built on the foundation of his own unique story. Since then, it’s become a familiar element of his speeches. His father was from Kenya and his mother from Kansas.
But it’s more complicated than that.
Thanks. A “social magna” is something I’ve never heard of.
No one actually at Columbia has been presented as having known him there; a roommate from the time is the only corroboration, and he had to be hunted down.
Well, that's because it is a neologism I invented. But if you imagine that you are HLS faculty, you've got your HLR President wielding whatever instrument that is in the graduation photo.
...and then at the graduation ceremony, the HLR President doesn't make magna, heck, maybe not even summa. It would be like a gigantic neon sign blinking "Affirmative Action". This mortifying awkwardness would be avoided simply by issuing Obama a degree with the words magna cum laude, with the rationalization that he earned his magna through his toils as HLR President.
His roommate was an off-campus roommate who no one has ever established went to Columbia.
The Columbia blackout over Obama’s bio is one of the most provocative pieces of the Obama puzzle.
The newspapers can blame the internet, talk radio, cable and others, but they brought it on themselves. They created the vacuum and others have had to take their place and fill that need. Liberalism corrupts everything it touches and everyone who embraces it.
Good one! Please ping me if you get an answer.
