Fey didn't think she resembled Palin that much at first.
"When I first saw her, I didn't think we looked alike at all," she says. "Then during the convention, I started to think, 'Ok, maybe a little.'"

I used to like Chevy Chase!
(It was the late 70’s and I was little...)
Poor Tina - what she doesn’t know is that the real Sarah Palin is smarter than her too!
10 times better.
You might say that Sarah’s SNL stint laid an egg, but that message would be terribly unkind to chickens.
I hate giving US’s site a hit, but maybe it’s the same as watching SNL with Gov Palin on .. they MAY realize why they are being read/watched.
No kidding! Sarah Palin is gorgeous and Tina Fey just looks like her with ALOT of makeup on!
All I could think of was, "Dah!"
The SNL cast and crew had to admit Sarah was cool.
McCain may have been going after the Hillary vote but he ended up with the male horndog vote....sort of the anti-hillary blue collar types....like my hubby.
I smugly quote myself. ;)
Highest ratings for SNL in 14 years. Having her on was a good idea for all concerned.
I sense that I will be in the minority, but I like Tina Fey. I haven’t watched SNL since Eddie Murphy left, so I only knew of her through the AMEX commericals. She’s an actress (ok), but she seemed really sweet. I saw the first Palin spoof and thought it was ok.
Yeah, you might say that if you were a bitter shrew eaten up with hatred for anyone and anything more conservative than the leftists that make up the democrat party and most of hollywood. But to say so would require ignoring the facts regarding the ratings for Sarah's SNL appearance and the reaction of the general public to it.
BTW, I was in a rather mixed room of people when the intro skit came on -- about half of the room loves Sarah, about a third of the room dislikes her fairly viscerally, and a few are generally indifferent -- and EVERYONE in the room thought it was funny and thought she showed a great sense of humor and class.
So what the heck is the deal? Is the birth certificate stuff so weirdo conspiratorial that FR does not want to be associated with it? I know it is a crazy long shot but I am still hoping it is true.
I think it’s just that that one was posted several times previously.
Hmmmmmmm...with those ears, thin lips, scrunched up face and little more spread of the middle fingers...Tina could pass for a constipated Vulcan stating “live long and prosper”. ;)
Stopped clock/Blind squirrel alert!
Go back to DU, you boring harridan.
