You know, this kind of stuff really burns my bacon. I work for the federal government, in an agency that requires the lowest level of security clearance for employment. It took them 3 months to conduct my background check, and I had to produce names of people who knew me 30+ years ago. I had to give them copies of my birth certificate, my passport, drivers license, marriage license, and my SS card. But this man can be elected as the most powerful person in the country, and doesn't even have to prove where he was born?

Hey, my clearance is a lot higher than that, took 18 months, to get, and I had to give a lot of intimate details about myself while wired up to a little machine. Obama's past association with Ayers would prevent him from entering the facility where I work - never mind the lack of his birth documents.

whenever I sign my kids up for athletic programs that are divided by age group, I have to offer a copy of their birth certificates.

For Little League it is the birth certificate as well as proof of address (utility bills - tax bills)
