This is why the Hawaii SC should sense an obligation to settle this issue by unsealing those records. I really have the sense that Hussein would not be bothered at all, IF (B I G "IF" right now) he was not born in the USA, to let that be known after he was sworn into office. I get the impression that he would revel in just that kind of history-making.
If there wasn’t an issue here, he would have put this story to rest months ago by producing a valid birth certificate. This is a big issue for me, that the guy does not want to reveal where he was born. Should be pretty basic stuff . . . I don’t think it’s asking to much for a candidate for POTUS be a legal American citizen as required by the Constitution.

Let me add to your speculation, my own speculation which is that based upon the argument of the Leftists since 2000 that “W” stole the election, therefore in their view has been an “illegitimate President”.
I would bet that the entire argument would be redirected to that tired old BS about Bush’s “legitimacy”, the fact that he “acted” as President for eight years although “illegitimate”, therefore “O” cannot be denied the Presidency based upon that precedent.
It’ll be OJ all over again. In some way the Left is going to focus the argument that “Bush’s Presidency was illegitimate” as an argument.
If that is true, and if it's allowed to stand, then the constitution is dead as is the country. There is no way to spin the presidential eligibility clause to include foreign born persons.
