How do you know she is “gravely ill”? All we have on that is from the Obama campaign. And you believe anything the Obama campaign says?
Apparently when Obama was in Hawaii, or is it Hawai’i, he visited his granmother for 1 hour only. One would think he would have spent at least an hour and 15 minutes with someone who raised him.
I think it might be a good idea for this thread to go away before it becomes Exhibit A of “FReeper crackpottery” on today’s Daily Kos.
My question is this: If his grandmother is "gravely ill", why is he waiting THREE DAYS before going to visit her? Heck, when I was told last year that my father was "gravely ill", I was on my computer IMMEDIATELY booking the next possible flight back east to visit him.
Maybe it's me, but this fails the smell test.
I have a question for you. If she's so gravely ill and he's so deeply concerned why is he waiting until Thursday to go to Hawaii? If it were my mother or grandmother I would drop everything...and I mean everything...and leave immediately. She may well be very ill but his reaction is all sop for the masses.

His (”typical white person”) grandma means nothing to him. He abandoned her long ago for political purposes. Even if she is ill, if he’s going to see her it’s only for appearances. This from another thread:
