Sometimes a sick grandmother is just a sick grandmother. Just sayin’.

I can honestly say I don't think I've ever seen a more retarded FR thread than this one. A lot of people need to grow up.

Thank you. I was beginning to feel like I was the only one who felt that way.

I can honestly say I don’t think I’ve ever seen a more retarded FR thread than this one. A lot of people need to grow up.

________

I have to agree. No wonder we’re losing. This thread sounds like the DU wackos from 2000 who were whining about Bush & Cheney both living in TX. They were looking for ANY reason to get them out of the race....

Prayers for Gran and the family. Losing those closest to you is never easy. I lost both my parents in their 70’s and I could never visit longer than an hour, because they just couldn’t entertain longer than that - (Dad had AZ so Mom was a bit overburdened....)

Those of you with grandparents who are still living, please realize what a gift you have. I only knew my paternal grandfather, (Mom’s parents died before I was born) and not very well, as he lived across the country, close to my grandmother who was in a home with AZ (long before they knew what it was, or how to care for the patients) - so it was more of an asylum than a “home for the aging.”

Please, please, please.... do NOT take your grandparents or your parents for granted - or for that matter, ANYONE YOU LOVE. They can be gone in the blink of an eye.

Sorry for the pathos, I’m close to the Red Tent I guess.
