WASHINGTON (AFP) Property mogul and diehard Republican Donald Trump told CNN on Wednesday that President George W. Bush misled the US into the Iraq War and should have been impeached when the Democrats took control of Congress in 2006. "I was surprised that she didn't do more in terms of Bush and going after Bush," Trump said in an interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer, referring to Democrat House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. "It ... just seemed like she was going to really look to impeach Bush and get him out of office, which personally I think would have been a wonderful thing." Trump, 62, said Bush misled the United States into waging war on Iraq, a much worse offense than a dalliance with a White House intern his predecessor Bill Clinton was impeached for in 1999. "He lied. He got us into the war with lies," Trump said about Bush. "And I mean -- look at the trouble Bill Clinton got into with something that was totally unimportant. And they tried to impeach him, which was nonsense. "And yet Bush got us into this horrible war with lies, by lying, by saying they had weapons of mass destruction, by saying all sorts of things that turned out not to be true," he added. On the race for the White House, Trump said he was rooting for John McCain to win the November 4 election...

lol you gotta be kiddin me, shutup trump, yer hair looks like something i shot in the woods last week lol.
Donald Trump is a nasty piece of work. Somebody I’m sure you admire.
diehard Republican my ass, he has supported many Democrats
and he lies about his wealth
but his wife and daughter are smoking..
I heard him on Hannity a couple weeks ago on this. He is so ridiculously misguided on this. What exactly did Bush lie about? No one can say. He viewed the same intelligence as everyone else foreign and domestic that supported it.
Who peed in the Don’s Cheerios? Did hims lose a little money on the meltdown and want to blame Bush?
Bill Clinton got impeached for perjury.
Bush didn’t even lie.
Trump is trying to have it both ways. he feels that by bashing GWB the liberals will take it easy on him for supporting McCain.
GWB is not guilty of high crimes and misdemeanors. He is guilty of hiring the most disloyal advisors in history and not sticking up for himself. How can you win a PR battle with Scott McClellan as your press secretary?
America was saving the impeachment process for “That One.” Joe Obiden promised us yesterday that Obama was going to screw up really bad when challenged by the other nations who hate freedom and that we needed stick with them while their poll numbers dropped. Okay chief! Will do! The future sounds so bright that I’m wearing shades.
This coming from a living breathing comic book.
Maybe you could condense them into one thread.
Trump is full of crap and apparently doesn’t believe in laws. Clinton broke the law. No liberal with any credibility claims Bush lied or broke any laws. They believe the war was wrong and a mistake but an honest mistake. Turns out they were wrong as Iraq is now a democracy.
Interesting how smart people can botch comparative analysis.
Last week? How about some time during the 90s. LOL
Posted last week.
Trump still stinks.
Old article, already posted.
Keep your trash off the board.
It goes to Bush’s judgement. Which was not very good. He was loyal to people who were disloyal. That’s not admirable or honorable. It’s just stupid.
Pelosi didn't pursue impeachment because she (more likely, her advisors) knew it would A) fail, and B) hurt the Dems' chances in the '08 elections in a big way. If Trump had even an ounce of political acumen he'd know this.
Donald Trump has such a mania for getting his face on TV that he will do anything.
Who cares what he says.
That said, I think Bush did made a mistake.
He was too anxious to go into Iraq under some UN directive and the way he did it accomplished that.
Of course, Trump and all of the others forget that the US just shipped a big load of yellow cake out of Iraq to Canada.
Maybe Hussein thought yellow cake was good to eat?
Anyway, I wish Bush had told the UN and the wimps in Europe to go to hell and explained to the American people that we had to go into Iraq to keep Iraq from going the way of Iran, the result of Jimmy Carter stupidity.
If that had happened, we would have had to go to war after both of them had nukes. We would have hesitated just as we are now doing with Iran and waited until it would have been much more difficult.
Properly explained, we would have agreed and Bush would have been judged differently.
