For those of you that don't live in a swing state, I hope this report will make you feel like you were here cheering Governor Palin on right along with me!
First I want to share a few pictures from "Your Country Deserves Better" Stop Obama Tour, that stopped in Denver yesterday evening.
It would have been great to have had a bigger crowd, but we had an awesome time.
I met FReeper mtngrandpa and his wife, and FReepers Syncro and impeach98 who are fortunate enough to be traveling with the tour bus. These are three hard working FReepers, doing what they can to help defeat Obama, and I thank them for all their efforts!
Wonderful! Looking forward to pictures. :o)
Knowing that my fellow FReepers love seeing pictures, I decided to get some pictures of some of the great signs!
More pictures coming...
Thanks for posting your pics. Nice!
Bump to see the pix. It was great to see you guys there!
How big was the crowd in Prince William Co., VA for the McCain Rally?
Thanks.
Looks like a big crowd.
A woman in line with me was telling us about a neighbor of hers who is a Dem and an Obama supporter who was there at the rally today because she wanted to see Sarah. I’m wondering if she’ll still be an Obamabot when it comes to actually voting.
So, I'm walking around taking pictures and when I return to line this lovely lady and my son are having quite the conversation. Vince told me later she had walked up to him and asked if she could shake his hand. He said no, and then gave her a hug. After I took their picture a gentleman came over and he wanted his picture taken too!
Maybe I can convince Vince to post what on earth they talked about for over two hours!
My family and I went to see Sarah today in Loveland. We never even made it in the events center!! The fire marshall quit allowing any more people in. They put the remaining 2000-3000 or so of us in an over flow building and we watched her give her speech on a screen. She came into the building for a few minutes on her way out and said a few words. I don’t know if the campaign didn’t expect as many people as were there or what. Also, we commented that the screeners must have been Dems because they took forever to screen people to get in the building. They really need to get bigger venues for her.
I am so sorry to hear that! When we left there were still several hundred outside waiting in line!
Governor Palin looked beautiful, as always, and it was great to see her husband there, one of older daughter's, and of course, Bristol.
It was a small venue but it was packed!
I don't know about crowd size but someone said 10,000 thousand or better. To be honest, I doubt it. It was too small of an area for that.
Here are some pics to try to gague the size. I am no good at that so I don't know the actual size.
And finally...
Hank Williams Jr. was looking right at me when I took this. I thought it was funny that he was wearing a John Elway jersey!
Sorry you couldn't make it to the rally, JoSixChip!
Jan, you’ve got some wonderful pictures of yesterday at the Stop Obama Tour, and today of “Our” Governor Sarah Palin. I talked to weldgophardline earlier and he told me something....
But, I’ll let him have the fun of telling you what happened there today. It’s AWESOME, and fire engine red was/is in it.
Here’s a video of Lloyd Marcus last night at the Stop Obama Rally in Lincoln Park. I’ll try to get some more videos uploaded later.

Just found this!! Get the word out!
“First Dude” Todd Palin to make rounds in Colo.
http://www.denverpost.com/previous2/home/ci_10767743
The husband of the GOP vice presidential nominee will be in Colorado on Tuesday campaigning for the ticket.
Todd Palin, who is married to Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, will appear in Glenwood Springs at 8:15 a.m., the McCain-Palin campaign said in a news release.
“The First Dude,” as his wife affectionately calls him, and former U.S. Rep. Scott McInnis will be at the Village Inn restaurant for a “meet and greet breakfast.”
From there, the pair will travel to Eagle for a similar 10 a.m. event at the Eagle Diner.
They also plan to stop by the campaign office in Eagle (at 50 Chambers Ave., Building B, Unit A) at 10:45 a.m., the release said.
After lunch, Todd Palin will be in Denver on his own, with a 1:30 p.m. “meet and greet” at Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World in the Northfield Stapleton shopping center.
I wish you and your wife could have been there today. The lines were long, and it was COLD, but it was worth it! I feel so bad that so many didn't even get in.
Thanks again for all you did to help with the tour. I am so glad I got to go!
WOW. Village Inn won’t know what hit them. That won’t be near big enough!
