Speaking to a college audience in Boston, Mass. Friday, "Daily Show" host Jon Stewart used his stand-up routine to respond to Sarah Palin's comments about "pro-America" parts of the country, shedding the profanity restrictions that govern his Comedy Central show.
"She said that small towns, that's the part of the country she really likes going to because that's the pro-America part of the country. You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly: [expletive] you," Stewart said to raucous applause.
Palin addressed a North Carolina fund-raiser Thursday night saying, "We believe that the best of America is not all in Washington, D.C. We believe...that the best of America is in these small towns that we get to visit, and in these wonderful little pockets of what I call the real America, being here with all of you hard working very patriotic, very pro-America areas of this great nation."
The comment was quickly picked up by media outlets and the Obama campaign, whose spokesman Bill Burton asked in an e-mail to reporters, "What part of the country isnt pro-America?"
Stewart didn't let his own harsh language stop him from criticizing John McCain and Palin for divisiveness.
"I can't take it anymore...After eight years of this divisiveness, we're back to this idea that only small-town America is the real America," he said.
The Manhattan native accused the Republicans of "writing off whole swaths of the country," saying "cities are just a lot of towns piled on top of each other in one place. "
During the same routine, however, he seemed to write off Palin's rural swath of the country, referring to the governor's home not as Alaska, Wasilla, or Juneau, but as "the woods."

Jon is just another self-loathing New York jew who is miserable anytime he has to leave Manhattan [i.e. college]. It’s a boring routine.
“What part of the country isnt pro-America?” The part that posts mostly garbage on DU. That one.
Me thinks thou dost protesteth too much, Jon ...
Dare I say it...I want to say it...okay, here goes:
America’s cities are populated with the following:
- Gangbangers
- Thieves who want to steal from the rest of the country and give to themselves
- People who hate others who disagree with them
- Communists
- People who like to go into violent riot-filled tantrums when they aren’t given something for free
Dare I go on?
What is useful about our cities? I can think of one thing:
- like candles to moths, they attract the attention of Islamic terrorists and AWAY from the part of America that does real work: the part that builds our industries, grows our food, purifies our water, and generally keeps the country going.
So thank you, people of our cities, THANK YOU. Thank you for keeping the terrorists’ eyes fixed on you and not us — you freedom-hating, America-hating Communists.
This bozo has a lot of nerve. To sum up my particular feeling toward our cities’ denizens, let me put it this way: hey Jon, the feeling is mutual: F*** YOU. When the Islamic terrorists hit you (and if you elect The One to power, they surely will), don’t expect any sympathy from me. Quite the opposite, in fact.
Jon Leibowitz Stewart
Is that a Scottish name?
Not as funny as he thinks he is. The wit really isn’t there, his crowd loves him because they are half stoned.
Same guy who put up the picture of George Bush in the crosshairs with the caption “Snipers wanted”.
More liberal hate.
Typical.
“Hey stewart: In the upcoming Civil War that your side will initiate, just remember, the real America controls the geographical center, its vast resources, and its testosterone. Think twice about your own role in dividing this nation. Think twice about the disadvantages that will haunt your side in this division.”
Don’t forget to mention that because we “cling to our guns and Bibles” we would be a force to contend with.
I honestly don’t think there is any danger of an armed insurrection in the offing. However, if an Obama administration attempted to use the military to back him up in suppression of “middle American insurrectionists”.....it ain’t gonna happen. The average military person, except for many of the (valued) Black members, will not support a clearly unconstitutional use of the military by a President Obama. Obama is going to find that the entire Army will become pacifists if he attempts to use them to suppress their families and neighbors. Also, he can forget the National Guard even more so. Obama will be less popular with the military than Clinton ever was.
You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly: [expletive] you," Stewart said
Not a chance in hell, honey.
“You know, I just want to say to her, just very quickly: [expletive] you,”
This is what the Left thinks of America
And Manhattan is full of domestic enemy plague rats, who just love wallowing in their anti-American, anti- decency, smarmy snarling socialist ratpigsty filth.
Let me tell you something you little twerp. Governor Palin is going to be around for a long time. She'll be running for office when you're in some "rehab" joint rotting away.
How about the neighborhoods where muslims celebrated on 9-11?
NO Republican should EVER go on that show again. But they will.
Although he often jokes that he and his wife legally changed their surname from Leibowitz because people had difficulty pronouncing it or because it “sounded too Hollywood”, he has implied that the name change was actually due to a strained relationship with his father, a physicist who left the family in 1971 and with whom Stewart no longer has any contact.
Stewart held numerous jobs, including: contingency planner for the New Jersey Department of Human Services, contract administrator for City University of New York, puppeteer for children with disabilities, construction worker, caterer, busboy, shelf stocker at Woolworth’s, assistant soccer coach at a high school, and bartender at a local blue-collar bar, the Franklin Corner Tavern. During part of this time, Stewart roomed with future congressman Anthony Weiner.
He proposed to his future wife through a personalized crossword puzzle created with the help of Will Shortz, the crossword editor at The New York Times
He describes his political affiliation as independent
In an interview on The O’Reilly Factor, Stewart denies the show has any intentional political agenda, saying the goal was “schnicks and giggles.” LIAR~!
Another notable moment occurred on April 4, 2006, when Stewart confronted his longtime friend, US Senator John McCain, about his decision to appear at Liberty University, an institution founded by Jerry Falwell, a man who McCain had previously denounced as one of the “agents of intolerance,” In the interchange, Stewart asked McCain, “You’re not freaking out on us? Are you freaking out on us, because if you’re freaking out and you’re going into the crazy base [politics] worldare you going into crazy base world?” McCain replied, “I’m afraid so.” The clip was played on CNN and created a surge of articles across the blogosphere.

YET, Jon Stewart supports a man who attended a church with a pastor (”God damn America”) who for 20 years spewed racist hate!
Hey, Jon, you want to know where unpatriotic people live?
In Obama’s ‘church’.
>The comment was quickly picked up by media outlets and the Obama campaign, whose spokesman Bill Burton asked in an e-mail to reporters, “What part of the country isnt pro-America?”<
...let me guess, Ivy League grad right?
What part isn’t Pro America? Hm...let’s start in your campaign offices for starters - then we can move on to your special interest supporters...
UUHHH... let's see; Berserkeley, Manhattan, Ithaca, Philly, Sin Francisco, D.C., Chicago, Nawlins...
Obama refers to the Progressive movement as not so much occupying Blue States but rather inhabiting islands in an urban archipelago.
And it is true.
That wherever urbanization has coded itself into a dense population, the liberal culture grows.
So Mr. Jon Stewart, you can fight small town America for the right to say who is pro-America, but your liberal urbanized metrosexuals will say out loud how people in American small towns keep their guns amd cling to their religion because they are ignorant.
And when Mr. Stewart did we ever see you acknowledge the US flag? Or get in the face of the European leftist press that seldom has a kind word for America? And on and on.
Your idea of being pro-American is to be pro-gun control, pro-gay marriage, pro-abortion-on-demand, pro-fairness doctrine, and on and on.
As for your crude language, red-staters can speak filthy too. And if that is what you want to see in our society, then bring it on.
“Sarah to Jon:
You wish.
Exactly. LOL
