I no longer live there but not far away. The families have spoken out against paraole for the perps. There will be a ceremony at the site tomorro as there is every year. A poignant note is that the site is on state property, but the memorial was not put there by the government. It was put there privately (and probably illegally since it was sate property and not acutually in Nyack) by a guy who was a fellow memeber of the volunteer fire company in which Sgt.O'Grady was a member.

The Sgt's son went on to graduate from the USNA and as far as I know is still a helicopter pilot.
