Penn is worth listneing to, even if you don't agree with him. He's a smart guy

I prefer listening to Teller, actually. (Hey, the guy actually spoke to me once!)

But how could anyone not like Penn, a guy who named his kid "Moxie Crimefighter"? How could anyone not like that? well, except maybe his kid.

And the staff and Barnes & Nobles when he asked every single one of them, "What does God need with a starship?"

Do you really think that all of those things can be implemented when many of us have larger arsenals at home than most of our National Guard members, who, by the way, will be on our side? Not a chance. Relax. McCain is going to win, and even if he does not, there is a large, quiet standing army of Americans ready to defend their liberties. If Obama and his allies think otherwise, they are in for quite a shock.

Incremental-ism is the lifeblood of Liberalism.

Do I think all these things will take place overnight, not a chance. (BUT TO BE HONEST, WITH PELOSI AND REID IN THE MIX, THINGS MIGHT GET VERY BAD VERY QUICKLY). When Reagan was President, did you think anyone would support a Marxist like Obama for POTUS twenty years in the future? I wouldn't have, but here we are.

This is why I hate the word Bipartisan. EVERY time a Bipartisan compromise is reached, the Conservative movement is damaged and the Liberal movement is strengthened.

How half this country buys in this Leftist garbage is a complete mystery to me. The Public Education System in this country has produced two generations of spoiled children whose level of ignorance is beyond any reasonable comprehension.

I can't disagree with that. But what makes it possible is the utter dominance of the Left in the media and in our educational establishments. That is no accident - it was the result of a long-term strategy ("the long march through the institutions") as well as disorganization and a failure of resolve among conservatives.

That is why "bipartisanship" never works for them. Liberals don't interpret it as an attempt to meet them halfway; they see it as a half-surrender of conservatives now, and an opening to complete surrender in the future.

It is a feel-good, fluffy society. D’s and F’s aren’t given out...now kids are below standards. What happened to kids failing? It might hurt their self-confidence and ego. Good-grief!

Penn & Teller just show up as a 1 second clip played repeatedly. You might as well include a clip of Reagan saying “There you go again” and say that Reagan is alive and telling like it is, too.

Remember when President Clinton signed the Welfare Reform Act. He said at the time that he would “fix” it later.

Same for the Employee Family Leave Act. It was unpaid leave, but now the Rats think it is unfair if you're not paid to not work.

Just like Obama’s Tax Plan, an updated version of the Welfare Reform Act.

I have to ask myself why I would keep working and paying Medical Insurance if Obama is elected. Must be that tingle running down my leg. LOL

For the same reason children vote for chocolate over broccoli. People don't grow up if they don't have to.

Tell your brother to pretend you are the federal government and that is he makes a certain amount over XX dollars to give you that money. I think he’ll get the point pretty quickly.

Obama tax policy = disaster. I have pleaded with good friends to look at what the numbers are with his plan and they like robots go (envision robotic voice)but he is for the middle class, he will give me a tax cut, he put more money in my pocket, he is not Bush....and so on and so on..

What really freaks me out is that people have unequivocally seen what he said to Joe, that he wants to redistribute the money...There’s no covering it up and people just sheepishly say, well he’s no socialist!! If that’s not a socialist mantra, then what the heck is??????

Please tell me I’m not the only one who is feeling like we’re in Bazarro world on Seinfeld...

True. What I see coming up is a replay of England’s Glorious Revolution, with elites vs. elites. On one side, there will be the academics, the media, some minority groups (African-Americans foremost) and the federal bureaucracy. On the other side will be the military, many state and local governments, religious leaders, and traditional Americans (the Sarah and Todd Palins of the country). Like the American Revolution, the left (monarchs, aren’t they?) will hold the cities and the Americans (individualists) will hold the countryside. In fact, this kind of elite vs. elite battle is part of our cultural heritage from our ancestry in England, and immigration from around the world hasn’t wiped it out. In fact, the coming battle will bring in many immigrants to the tradition of individual rights and liberty - especially if they have to live through several years or decades of not having them.

What this tells me is that this battle will be bloody in some places, tense in others, and the average person will duck as the elites go after each other.

And you’re right about the guns. American culture is like the Swiss or the Afganis... those guns aren’t going away, even if I have bury mine in the backyard to prevent the state from taking them away.

Yep, interesting times ahead.

Compare and contrast apartheid Rhodesia to the People’s Paradise of Zimbabwe. I’m sure you’ll be able to find lots of blacks who preferred things the old way — at least they had more to eat and were less likely to be murdered and raped.
>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

The saddest part is that many blacks in this country are all for apartheid...as long as they are the ones telling whites to stay away rather than the other way around. If anyone thinks I am wrong just look around and pay attention.

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Someone who claims to be an independent (but cannot bear to hear one negative word about Obama or one positive word about McCain) recently insisted to me that there is no bias in favor of the Democrats in the media. I simply asked who tells him when the sun rises because I am sure that he can’t see it. “There is none so blind as he who will not see.”

Bizarro world indeed!

It's not slavery

Slavery is the forceful use of one person for the purposes of another.

It is slavery.
