Here’s a comment from the story:
Eric, while you’re digging around for dirt on Joe, put your investigative skills to work on some info I’ve not been able to find anywhere.
1. Obama’s medical records. They have NEVER been released, and his campaign has stated that they never will be. Why?
2. Obama’s transcripts from any of the schools he has ever attended. Obama’s are nowhere to be found, not from Columbia or Harvard. Why not?
3. How about any records of the clients Obama served while he was an attorney in Chicago?
4. How about a valid, certified birth certificate for Obama? The one posted online was a verified forgery. I’d like to see the real thing just to set my mind at ease that he is, actually, a natural-born citizen as the Constitution requires.
5. How was a neophyte like Obama appointed to head the Annenberg Challenge which disbursed nearly $100 million?
6. I’d like to learn more about his schedule and records while serving in the Illinois State Senate. Unfortunately, they have been sealed. Again, why the secrecy?
7. How about tracking down and publishing all the scholarly articles this Harvard educated attorney wrote and published. Oops! That’s right! He never published a single article in spite of being the editor of the Harvard Law Review! I guess there’s no point in pursuing that one.
8. I want more information about the racist church that Obama attended for 20 years. What exactly is Black Liberation Theology? I’m curious to know how listening to that teaching for two decades has affected Barack.
9. I want similar “dirt” dug up on Obama’s associates, including everyone on his campaign team and advisors. Don’t you think it’s fair that we learn about their brushes with the law, both major and minor? I’m interested to know about David Axelrod’s tax statements, driving record, real estate dealings, medical history, divorce records, credit history, home address. Hey, if it’s fair for Joe the Plumber, why not apply that standard starting at the top?
10. I want to know more of Barack’s work as an attorney for the Chicago chapter of ACORN. I understand he was also a trainer for that organization. Can you find out more about the type of training he offered the other “community activists”?
My point is that Joe simply asked a question of Barack, Barack answered it honestly, and in doing so, damaged himself. That is the main point, not some silly dirt-digging over a man who simply wants to move ahead in life, like the rest of us. Barack is an empty slate. I am very uncomfortable voting for someone who keeps major portions of his life shrouded in secrecy. Attacking someone who simply asked a question raises even more questions and doubt about this candidate, his supporters, and how they would manage our country once in power.
