"I was at a loss for words but not surprised," she continued. "I know John McCain doesn't respect women enough to allow us to make our own reproductive decisions, but he callously dismissed health exceptions for women with sarcasm and air quotes."

John McCain respects women enough that he will work to prevent them from KILLING their own babies.

50 MILLION dead babies IS NOT a sign of respect, it's a holocaust.

Trust me, there are NOT 50 million health exceptions, end of case!

"Health of the mother"?!

How healthy is it to reach inside a uterus and reposition a baby so it will be delivered breech?

Contrary to claims made by the pro-abortion lobbying group NARAL, Orient points out that partial-birth abortion is not a safe practice, since it "carries the risk of maternal injury or death, as by uterine rupture or laceration and hemorrhage."

All that instrumentation within the mother's body serves no useful medical purpose whatsoever. Its only purpose is to skirt the law governing the definition of a "fetus" versus a "human" since the former, but not the latter, can be legally killed.

If NARAL were really concerned about the alleged "health" of the mother and, if there were a legitimate "health reason" for a late term abortion, may I suggest that NARAL lobby to have a law passed that allowed the mother to deliver through labor after induction as late term natural fetal demise mothers are delivered. Then, after the "fetus" was delivered, the law would allow it to be killed in the O.R.

Such a procedure would be less physically dangerous for the mother and NARAL could be up front about what it is actually championing.

McCain doesn’t support partial birth abortion.
