Every other thread at the DU is about Joe the Plumber. He apparently seems to be a real threat to them for some reason.
What’s sad to me is how the character assassination machine goes in full effect on average, run of the mill working Americans, who get on TV now.
The growing acceptance for demonizing and character assassinating individuals with differing/challenging views will have consequences for this country, as we head into the future. All we learned in Kindergarten about how to treat others has been lost...negative attacks is not the right description for what is going on anymore.

Yes, Greta’s hubby did support Hillary, but he now is out campaigning for McCain. There was a youtube video of an interview he had where he said he is endorsing McCAin. :)

Sorry but he didn’t say it didn’t happen. And I understand that in a way since he wasn’t out in the crowd the whole time. But the way this will play is there will be some people that still think it happened because McCain didn’t directly say it didn’t happen. This is just another in a long line of Obama lies that McCain didn’t deal with properly during a debate.
We had to declare when we voted in the primaries, but so many folks were up in arms over it, they changed it this year.
Just a FWIW some anecdotal stuff from my night with the Texas Hold ‘em crowd. I talked about the debates and not a single person expressed any desire to watch it last night.
Most are very into politics here in a red area and everyone had the same opinion of O snd Mc. O is a Socialist and Mc is nothing to be excited about.
Off topic, stock market is still dropping as are metals. Used to be when market dropped metals went up. Something strange going on.
Seems the smart money people are betting on an O win. Hope I’m wrong but damn, things don’t look good out here in flyover country.
