Native Californian here!
The native Californians -- especially outside of the big cities -- are mostly Conservatives. But the transplants and the big city people -- Bay Areans, Los Angelenos -- are mostly Libs. Anywhere that can be yuppified, produces idiots. The rest of us produce the fruits of our labors and are Conservatives!

But...I’ve been in L.A. since age 4; moved here in 1953. So I do consider myself a native. And around L.A. there just aren’t many Republicans much less conservatives. There are a FEW around, of course, but we tend to keep quiet about our views. I should really consider moving to more of a “red” zone....
