Well, it really wasn’t so weird. There’s a spirit of comaraderie at our games. If you’re wearing orange and blue there are no strangers. Also, the area where I was had season ticket holders, so everyone gets to know everyone else. Except me, my ticket was a gift.
The neat thing was that during pre-game, the AUMB played both “God Bless America” and “the Star Spangled Banner” and everyone around knew the words and sang loudly. That was wonderful.
