He had his chance! Clear as Day! When Obama and Pelosi (and bush ) proposed the bailout...
MCCAIN SHOULD HAVE THROWN DOWN THE GAUNTLET AND OPPOSED IT.
80 % of the people were ready to support him right there. Plus, as it turns out, the bailout isn't working, so he could also have been right.
But he had to be a maverick and go with Barney Franks and Hanky paulson!

Yep. They are so busy trying to tackle our own quarterback to the ground in the last minutes of the game that they forget the impact of their stupidity on the outcome of the game.
