I hope the reception wasn’t chilly. I’m not encouraged by multiple Obama-Biden signs in the pic.

Scott Gomez is the first native born player from Alaska to win the Stanley Cup as well.
Alaska's Scott Gomez of the NHL's New Jersey Devils holds the Stanley Cup aloft during a parade in downtown Anchorage in July 2003.

Perhaps if Sarah Palin had been in goal tonight for the flyers they might not be losing 4-0. God is righteous.

Sweet! Gotta love the Fly-guys.
I was hoping Sarah would swoosh out there on skates, though. Oh well!

There were some Obama signs in the crowd. What a stupid idea. I like Piper’s new hairdo, though.

While we're trashing Philly, I have to bring up what happened when the Washington Redskins played a game there a year or two ago. The mother of the Redskins' star running back, Clinton Portis, was in the stands.
At one point during the game, the stadium camera zoomed in on her and the announcer identified her. Then the Philadelphia fans around her started throwing food and drinks at her. The Redskins had to bring her down to their sideline for her protection. Classy bunch.

Go, Sarah! She looked beautiful, and poised.
I think that little Piper Palin is about the cutest little girl I’ve ever seen!
With regard to Philly sports fans, I’ve heard some scary stories from both hockey fans being there and Cowboys fans being there for games.
