STATEMENT FROM MCCAIN-PALIN SPOKESWOMAN MEG STAPLETON
Friday, October 10, 2008
ARLINGTON, VA McCain-Palin 2008 spokeswoman Meg Stapleton issued the following statement on todays release of Stephen Branchflowers report:
Todays report shows that the Governor acted within her proper and lawful authority in the reassignment of Walt Monegan. The report also illustrates what weve known all along: this was a partisan led inquiry run by Obama supporters and the Palins were completely justified in their concern regarding Trooper Wooten given his violent and rogue behavior. Lacking evidence to support the original Monegan allegation, the Legislative Council seriously overreached, making a tortured argument to find fault without basis in law or fact. The Governor is looking forward to cooperating with the Personnel Board and continuing her conversation with the American people regarding the important issues facing the country.

Better a ‘whiner’ than a ‘RINO’ ;)
Track Palin in 2024!
World champion instigator, no less. And it seems you're making a bad name for the rest of us here since '98 (and you're a newbie, to boot!).
You and I will have to get together and hold a meeting of his fan club. (A fan is the only way of dissipating the odor)
I need the money for my 401 K
-Slippy, hold out for something really good!
My dad has two children, me and my sister. One day my sister's ex-husband threatens my dad with death. How long do you think it will take before the ex and I have a "come to Jesus," meeting?
I would be grateful that I wasn't a governor of a state at the time. Why? Because that come to Jesus moment would be a barrel of a gun in the ex's mouth, with me trying desperately to convince myself not to pull the trigger.

I am sure she will address it at an appropriate time. When one is trying to distance oneself from a smear campaign, it is best to let someone else make the first defense.
LOL!
I wish I had me a sub-prime. ;o)
Very nice profile, too.
You know Miss Slippy? Holy Moly, am I in for it this weekend. I’ll never see the light of day from under the stack of “Honey Do’s!”
Why you'll just be so much madder cause they screwed you so badly, the whole time the Rats and Obama are eating your lunch.
Its all much to do about nothing. Go read the report.
Or return the smear. She should go full Clinton. Blow torch these yokels.
No, I don’t know Miss Slippy. I was agreeing with the general sentiment in your post :)
I must admit, I’ve been world-class awful on this thread.
BYW, Miss Slippy and I have such fond memories of the “desert FReep.”
I know, you’re confusing me with someone else.
I’m with you on this. I just don’t know if our candidate is.
Yes, I’ll be mad at the Republicans. I *am* mad at the Republicans. For essentially abandoning conservative principles over the last 4 years.
I refuse to support any political structure that is based on socialism — and that doesn’t matter if it’s a (R) or a (D) at the end of it. Socialism is socialism. Our country is better than that. People have DIED to keep this country away from that philosophy. Please respect their spirits and stay the course of conservatism by refusing to vote for either of these jack-—es.
This Christian lady has such a neat way of putting impure thoughts into pure words!
Exactly! He's probably the only person in broadcasting that could have made Sean look sharp.
