Staggering isn't it. But the real picture is SHE DID NOT FIRE the cop, her exbrotherinlaw.
She fired the Public Safety guy, an It was due to other things, not his failure to fire Wooten. She even offered him a different position that might suit him better, he declined.

Being concerned as a family about an out of control ex-member of that family who is armed and has made threats is an inappropriate thing? It would seem to me to be dereliction of duty if a Governor of a state didn't try to remove a State Trooper who had conducted himself in such a manner!
