McCain Says No Need To Fear Obama, Calls On Supporters To Be "Respectful"
TPM ^ | 10/10/2008 | Greg Sargent

After taking criticism for standing by for days while his supporters grew increasingly unhinged and hysterical, John McCain did the right thing today, telling his supporters that there's no need to be "scared" of a president Obama and calling on them to be "respectful" towards him.

We have two videos for you from the same event. Here's vid of McCain saying that you needn't fear Obama: "He is a decent person, and a person that you do not have be scared as President of the United States"...

McCain is just playing the game. He has to hold on to some of those wishy washy braindead moderates who watch CNN and Katie the Airhead while relying (mostly) on Palin and the ad guys to show why you should be scared to death of Obama.

I would be willing to bet McCain is just as scared about Obama winning as the rest of us.

Do you REALLY think he wants Obama in charge of the military?

I would never have believed McCain could actually come across so wimpy. Wow - where have you gone Maverick? I am tossing your book in the garbage. That guy in Wisconsin yesterday was the first one who really lit into McCain and you would think it would have lit a fire not a pussbomb

he should be attacking them based on the ideology 0bama shares with every one of them

The problem is that McCain is about as conservative as a vegan florist at a yoga convention. He couldn't counter the leftist ideology because he has bought into so much of it.

McCain needs this kind of attack:

“Where are Obama’s college transcripts and writings, that we might evaluate his formative years?”

“Where are Obamas’s executive qualifications, given that he gained office unopposed, and has initiated no meaningful legislation?”

“Should we place more confidence in his liberal voting record of raising taxes and undermining national defense, or should we believe his pandering campaign rhetoric?”

“Not a record to be trusted in these challenging times!”

Only if they're not occupied by his illegal alien friends.

So, McCain is saying, higher taxes, more welfare handouts, more govt regulation, more liberals on the high court, more gun control and a cut and run policy in the WOT, is something we conservatives should look forward to.

Amazing.
