After taking criticism for standing by for days while his supporters grew increasingly unhinged and hysterical, John McCain did the right thing today, telling his supporters that there's no need to be "scared" of a president Obama and calling on them to be "respectful" towards him.
We have two videos for you from the same event. Here's vid of McCain saying that you needn't fear Obama: "He is a decent person, and a person that you do not have be scared as President of the United States"...

Did the same. . .and while I chose the donation option to get them to read my rant, I also told them to forget any monetary support as well.
I’m still going to work for the defeat of Obama, but today McCain put in my face what I already knew. The guy cannot make our case.

"Or he thinks hes playing good cop while Gov. Palin takes some accurate (but not enough) shots at Obamessiah."
A case of voters not trusting his judgement!! A wimp is not the best choice to be our President.
Besides that - sending a woman out to do the job you can't handle as a man is disgusting!!
I'm voting for Sarah - & praying that God helps her & helps us to drag him over the finish line.

This may be a positive result from this. Too much arrogance in the political elite class. They need a whiff of the fear we feel.

Hes naive. Hes got his head in the sand. Well be gosh-darn lucky to be allowed to hold elections ever again if Obama, or for that matter Hillary EVER take office....
If it was Hillary or Obama, I would take Hillary. Yes we would be more socialist, but at least at the end of her term we would still have an America. No way will we have an America after this guy. Hillary loves America, Obama does not! Sarah has to be our savior in all of this mess.

I have to tell you, he is a decent person and a person that you do not have to be scared of as president of the United States.
Very nice John. Now how about campaigning for YOURSELF for a change!

I hope that is the case, but I fear it isn’t.
In due course we will know. I hope you are closer to reality than I am.

Not sure if I can do that. To me this election is like trying to chose between a serial murderer and a abortion doctor.

I emailed McCain’s office:
“You should not be afraid of Obama, just his ideas!!!!)”
How hard would have that been for John to say?
The guy from Waukesha (WI) was correct. We are MAD........We are very mad that US is having Socialism forced down our throats!!!!!
I hope the economy and the non-reading American public flushes the MSM down the toilet.

BS. He just has to say, as he did in the first debate, that Obama's
policies are dangerous. What McCain has done with these idiotic comments is to place Obama on the same plane as himself. He is saying even if Obama is elected, we will be OK. My opponent is a decent, honorable person even though as his wife Cindy said, "this is the dirtiest campaign ever."
Need I remind you what McCain said about the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth when they went after his buddy Kerry. McCain called them [Navy Vietnam vets like myself] "dishonest and dishonorable." How the fu*k can he call them that and call this radical, America hating SOB who hangs out with terrorists a "decent family man." Something is turned upside down here. McCain deserves to lose and maybe that is what he wants to do to the GOP as payback for 2000.
