I saw that other effete phony Peggy Noonan on Glenn Beck last night. I have never seen somebody talk so much and say so little as her. She talks like she is writing a speech. The Brooks and Noonans are victim conservatives. They love whining and complaining and taking the philosophical high ground. When a conservative actually has a chance to lead they don't seem to like the theoretical becoming reality. They want to constantly talk about conservatism and never actually implement it. That way they can always keep their pretty little bird caged up. You Brooks, Will and Noonan need to accept more invitations of those wine and cheese tasting parties with your buddies out on Oyster Bay where you and your liberal buddies can marvel in your own brilliance. Leave actually implementing conservatism to the doers.
Both Brooks and Noonan are pompous a**es. It seems almost a foregone conclusion that even some of the most well-intentioned, "conservative" Republicans eventually become elitist RINOs if their stay in the Washington beltway is long enough or they get invited to enough wine & cheese parties on Oyster Bay.
May God bless us with more people who are able to fight the force of elitism.
