I believe I heard Obama himself say he’s in touch with Odinga almost daily. There’s a video somewhere out there, but I don’t have time right now to look for it.

I believe I heard Obama himself say he’s in touch with Odinga almost daily. I'm pretty sure he said that in a 2006 video, but not aware of anything from 2008 (not that it makes that big of a difference).

It was during the early primaries that TIME, CBS and the NYTs reported that Odinga and Obama spoke daily.
Odinga was in DC in July. He met with Rice. Had no contact with the big O.
