Republicans, of course always vote Republican”
Your analysis makes us all feel better, but it doesn’t use what is a sad fact on our side. Yes, when Repubs vote, they vote Repub.
But they don’t always vote.
In 2000, millions of evangelicals didn’t bother. Bush loses the popular vote and almost loses.
In 2002, and 2004, evangelicals show up, and voila we do great, even making Senate gains.
Then the big catastrophe in 2006 when basically our votes are left on the table.
Bottom line, there is no guarantee that our people will show up...and certainly the Ds are going to show up big time this year, living and not living. (Not talking about freepers and activists, but rather those voters who are sort of conservative but not intensely committed to voting...they make the difference).
Even so, we have to hope that your analysis is right and that an unreported miracle happens here.
This is a number that I don’t get either. I would think McCain would get 55% of the male vote, with the female vote being the problem. These polls are so screwed up.
Corsi was arrested and put on the next flight out of Kenya.
So he didn’t see much to report on.
WE OWE IT TO PALIN...to get her in office. We cannot allow her to lose and fade away...she has fought for conservative values and has been unapologetic about her pro life stance. God Bless her!
It had to happen. Let’s keep the Victory Train moving~~
Most excellent analysis.
He had opportunities to clearly retort Obama’s statement of how its Bush’s economic policies that caused this, he could have responded to Obama’s NEW support for off-shore drilling, he could have corrected that lady who said it was both parties fault....when it wasn’t.
I do. Last week it occurred to me that most âmaleâ Obamanation disciples simply have a man crush on him. They cannot even playback one of his positions. Saw an interview with college kids allover the country. The Obamanation supporters were all just gushing about how good he looked and sounded. Nothing about the issues. Metrosexuals one and all.
STEP 1 - Polls go up for Obama, down for McCain.
STEP 2 - McCain becomes concerned, shows some life
He gets some backbone and becomes more aggressive and conservative.
STEP 3 - McCain goes up in polls, Obama goes down.
STEP 4 - McCain looks at improving polls and says:
"The polls are moving my way so I don't need to be too harsh.
Democrats won't like me if I am too aggressive and too conservative.
I will just back off and take it easy so people don't get upset."
STEP 5 - Polls reverse course.
STEP 6 - Return to STEP 1
Repeat until November 4.
I respectfully dissagree. I think that what you interpret as "not wanting to fight" is actually "being reasonable and mature".
flinging hysterical accusations of guilt by association would have been a disaster
Keep in mind these candidates are courting the "moderates", the emotional last minute voters who decide their vote like they are buying a used car....all others have decided already
“Corsi was arrested and put on the next flight out of Kenya.
So he didnt see much to report on.”
I disagree with you. Here’s the Time article and looks like he has seen much and has some info ready to share. He was preparing for a press conference IN Kenya to report his findings when arrested/deported. I cannot wait to hear what he says when he makes the circuit in the states. What a hero to put his life in danger to report his findings. God I hope he sells millions of copies of his books! Heck I already have his book and I am going to buy more to reward this guy!!!

this is the part I like best:
“Apart from planning to debut his book in Kenya (so far it is unavailable in bookstores here) and provide details about Obama’s alleged ties to Odinga, Corsi had said that his press conference would “expose details of deep secret ties between the U.S. Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama and a section of Kenya government leaders, their connection to certain sectoral groups in Kenya and subsequent plot to be executed in Kenya should Senator Obama win the American presidency.”
Yes, I agree. It was a good closing statement. And there were a couple of other good moments.
But I’ll bet the audience was pretty small by that time. I know we couldn’t stand watching the whole thing, and I suspect many viewers probably switched channels.
We did watch the last few minutes, and that was good. We turned off the set then, so we missed seeing John & Cindy walk out, while Barry & Michel spent 20 minutes shmoozing with the so-called undecided audience.
Fantastic analysis! Thank you!!
Please keep up with the prayers.
Let’s stop attacking our side and keep the focus where it belongs.
As for bashing the bailout. How about we bash how we got there. It’s like blaming the aspirin for the headache.
McCain is no idiot, he picked her for a reason. Who but Sarah turned this around? Who but Sarah is going to carry us all across the line?
McCain is building bridges instead of tearing them down. I know exactly what would happen of McCain went ion the attack. As it is, if the MSN attacks Sarah, she grows stronger.
McCain (IMHO) is running the perfect race, he didn't fight because he didn't need too.
The polls of course will tighten.. Guys, no pollster wants to be horribly wrong ON election day.. they will get their sampling targets and statistical models more accurate to reality as the election nears.
Remember, in the late primaries time and time again Fauxbama went into elections neck and neck in the polls and lost and lost big in the primaries. Relax.
Yes, I agree with your point up to a point. That is probably how McCain is looking at it. However, IMO, the Marxist Onada is not the equivalent of a baby seal. Baby seals are what they are. They aren’t in the business of destroying a country. I would have roasted the Marxist Onada last night.
