This reader out-Andies Andy:
Well I have gone outside and pulled up my Mcain/Palin sign. This election is over. I will vote for Mcain but I know that come Nov. 5 Obama will be our president-elect.Steady on. This next month is going to be a long month. Lots of things will happen. But McCain has to make some of them happen. His charge that Obama doesn't know the difference between "strategy" and "tactics" could equally well be leveled at his own campaign.
I feel sorry for Sarah Palin. A once promising career will be permanently connected to the landside loss of John McCain.
I weep for my children and their families.
With you in the fight. The sad truth is that these whinny babies will end up learning the hard way about Obama.
I've reminded myself of that guy a lot. Now I'm in DA, I listen to Dave Ramsey, and I haven't taken on any debt in almost three months. If we don't fall apart, I'll be stronger for it.
American patriots are putting their lives on the line in Iraq and Afganistan to protect and defend this nation and our freedom. The least we can do is fight to give them a Commander in Chief that isn’t a treasonous Muslim Manchurian Candidate, no better than an Al Qaeda operative, that wants to destroy us from within.
Each of us can do no less to defend our country from domestic enemies aka Liberals, Hussein Obama and his shrew, and the biased human waste in the mainstream media. Fight Freepers Fight!!! The alternative is a dictator who will shut down any and all dissent and our children and grandchildren’s futures will be gone. IMO, we are reliving 1937 Nazi Germany. Unlike the Germans, we won’t sit by whining while our country is taken over by the Devil. Get the truth out about Hussein Obama; his corruption, lies, and hidden agenda are heinous.
I like that!! Thank you...very encouraging!!!
McCain/Palin 2008 ;-))!!!
HAHAHAHAHHA...i love that scene from the film ...hahahahah. thanks for making my day
I used to like Mark Steyn.
I have seen McCain/Palin signs, more of them in my hometown and it is a Dem stronghold and only 2 Obama/Biden signs.
If you click on the link and go to the source, to me it is very unclear if this is a quote from Mark Steyn, or is Mark Steyn is posting a defeatist reader comment.
It really looks to me as it if is a reader comment, not a Mark Steyn comment.
That's pantywaist to you, and say it with a smile.
I never believed that America would elect a guy who just slithered, dripping slime, out of a corrupt far left, anti-American, antisemitic, racist swamp in Chicago — until last night. Most Americans are never going to discover who BHO is until after he and Michelle move into the White House. Last night made it clear that McCain simply cannot tell the truth about Obama.
We, his supporters, have already done everything we can do to get the truth out without his help. It hasn't gotten past the media embargo enough to have an impact on the swing voters who matter. Fatalism at this point isn't cowardly or unmanly. It's just realistic.
If McCain lets Obama run as a tax cutting fiscal conservative and a tough hawk McCain will lose. Unfortunately that is exactly what McCain is doing. Maybe the American people will figure things out on their own without any effective Republican leadership. I, for one, won't be holding my breath.
Well I'm off to buy some gold. I understand soap is also a good thing to stockpile when total collapse looks to be just around the corner.
I sense people are starting to wake up to the reality of Obama.

I don't see many McCain signs either, and we live in AZ (and trust me, AZ will definitely go in the McCain/Palin column).
I really wanted to get a McCain or a Palin bumper sticker, but the wife talked me out of it -- we are really afraid of vandalism also.
Did you bother to read this. Steyn is saying a reader said that. He is saying keep fighting.
Palin is the future of the GOP with Mike Pence, Bobby Jindal, etc...
Can't recognize sarcasm when you see it?
Reread the article. You are confused.
The tired line isn't working, especially when we have two socialists running this time. Since you are so conviced by the lesser of two evils mantra, however. let me ask you a question. If the two main candidates were Stalin and Hitler (and there was a quixotic third party candidate that you liked who could never win) would you then feel obligated to vote for either Hitler or Stalin. I'm just curious as to how far you are willing to take this "lesser of two evils" strategy before you finally say "enough."
Hell even the LION”S coach said he would not quit on the team.
Did you read the article? He printed a letter he received from a disenchanted voter. Check our the whole article.
