While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I just want to say I am NOT against interracial dating or marriage. I am assuming this text was taken from somewhere? Perhaps the source should be cited.
Obama will send you a big wet kiss, like Sammy Davis to Archie Bunker. Sweet dreams.
They need a comic to do a warmup before these debates. I’m serious.
Back in the 80’s and 90’s I had a choice to opt-out of health insurance if I didn’t wan’t it. What they want to do is remove that choice. It is like automotive insurance mandates, yet it has nothing to do with you plowing your car into somebody else’s. It’s you paying other people’s coverage.
“To say that we all wanted Romney was insulting, not all of us are so easily fooled by a liberal car salesman.”
Something you guys have to understand is...we might have to accept someone who is more of a fiscal conservative than a social one...that’s a trade I am willing to take right now.
Gosh, I just got here, missed the debate and jumped right straight to the end. I guess McCain bombed by the way some posts read here. Oh God I hope not!
Rush Limbaugh will rightly point out tomorrow that people stood when McCain came over to greet and shake hands.
People just sat when Obama approached and I think that says it all.
Interesting about the drudge poll. You can only vote once. that must be why Mc is winning it so big.
Look... Americans say “Pak ih stan” Muslims say PAH KEE STAHN.
It's all part of the 57 state training. He's a Muslim at heart. Why do former Muslims fear for their lives for converting to Christianity but Obama doesn't have to worry? They WANT him to win. Lying is ok if it advances the Muslim cause.
that alone says something about each of them.
Thats all he had to do to win over the Luntz group
You know, I really thought it was a draw, but you are right. When McCain says he loves this country, you can tell he really means it. Not just words either, but actions. So therefore, I believe he won.
So...you shouldn't have YOU warm up the crowd then.
I thought it was the highlight of the night. Guess Little O got his feelings hurt.
Hey, I'm all for that, word_warrior_bob.
My favorite phrase of the day, by Rush Limbaugh:
What do Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden have in common?
Both have friends who have bombed the Pentagon.
Who?
point well taken although i think you are reacting too quickly.
i would like to hear if this is new additional spending or part of the previous congress approved socialist bailout bill.
That one nearly killed me but... what if, when the government “renegotiates” the loan, the govt gets a lean on the property for the amount they forgive or interest rate costs incurred?
If you were listening to Easton Fox she’s confused about the bailout. It already covers the bad homeowner loans.
