While the two presidential candidates, Senators John McCain and Barack Obama, prepare for their second debate on Oct. 7 at Belmont University in Nashville, Tom Brokaw gets to sift through questions submitted by you. In addition to queries from a group randomly selected by the Gallup organization, Brokaw will be fielding questions submitted online at mydebates.org, the site created by the Commission on Presidential Debates and Myspace. The focus of the town hall-style debate will be domestic and foreign policy, Brokaw's specialties.
I think McCain is getting tired of them going unanswered. I think he IS close to the bitch slap.
Well you caught some :)
I've haven't seen you around lately so I thought there might be something wrong. Glad you were here tonight.
(((Take care, rest and feel better)))
:)
how do you put the remark you are replying to in italics??
Ask your hair stylist if it was freezing cold in there like Claire McCaskill said. It sure seemed cold to viewers at home like me.
The debate was a crushing bore for everyone and will have no impact on the election. Nothing happened, no blood, that’s how most everyone saw it.
Back to beating Obama over the head with Ayers, Wright, Odinga, Al-Monsour, etc., 24/7.
We’ll crush Obama in a landslide because he can’t hold his base, that’s how I see it.
I think he did well on substance. Ok on delivery.
Sadly Barama didnt mess up real bad without a teleprompter. He lied real smooth”
I disagree. Obama couln’t answer the questions so he just babbled in that lovely deep baritone voice. He’s a fool and a fraud.
“Do you want Obama ?
You are one of the same morons who gave us Bill Clinton in 1992.”
Some people’s convictions do not sway, my friend.
Ouch.
PBS also showed Hussein talking to the audience. Hussein picked the spot in front of the camera to meet and greet. McCain was occasionally shown on the other side of the room shaking hands and speaking with the crowd. McCain needs to consider what we're seeing at home. That ol' camera has a big light on it; not hard to find.
MCCAIN WINS TEXT VOTE: 86%, just like the last debate. MSM will say Obomba won.
I am with you. I sure didn't want Romney at all. Now I wonder if the doom and gloom comments on here are coming from Romney supporters who will give Sen McCain no credit.
I worked for Rudy's campaign but the night of Florida went to McCain and have never looked back. A lot of Romney people have never gotten over he lost. Rudy endorsed McCain immediately and some of us had doubts Romney would ever endorse him.
All you had to do was listen to the speeches the night Gov Palin gave hers. Fred Thompson hit it out of the park for McCain, Huckabee all for McCain, Romney -- hardly mentioned McCain, and Rudy all red meat for McCain. The two that really like McCain were evident that night -- Thompson and Rudy and I really thought Huckabee did a good job. Romney's speech was about him and a joke. Said it all!
Irrespective of the faults of Romney, Nutmeg has a right to have supported him.
Thanks, Diogenesis. :o)
I should clarify my position: By the time the primary voting came to Connecticut, my choices were limited... Duncan Hunter and Fred Thompson had dropped out. I voted for Romney. I know he's no "true conservative", but he has a solid record as Governor of Massachusetts for getting things done (as opposed to a Senator). And I think he would have been a much better attack dog in these debates than McCain has been.
Right now, I wish we could put SARAH on top of the ticket!
I agree..
I give McCain a B
and Obama a C+ but he sure wins on delivery and presence.
this is worse than Bush and Gore and Obama ain’t nearly as wooden
on TV it takes someone to rattle Obama to win
he has made a life on this ability to talk shite...jive
between that and the media, it looks bad for us to be frank
and all you rah rah folks kiss off
I just donated 1500 bucks to Mccain today...cash money in the names of my 3 boys..I can even ping freepers who know I don’t make this up
they like to see their names on Newsmeat or HP dislcosures link
I’ve given to GOP a long time....gave to Fred.
I march, I rally I counter rally, i freep, the pics and threads are here as proof
but I hate to tell yall, baring something breaking series our way we are gonna lost this one
sorry....
this will be by a fairly narrow margin an utter rejection across the board of our side.
so much for running as a moderate...like Rush says
there is a bright side to this but it’s 4 years away...hope I get to see it
Magnus...we sure miss you man.
PS: I have a spot on a 40,000 traffic count lot in front of a turn in to a Wal Mart Loews I’ve offered to thee GOP here to put a Mac billboard...called them over and over...crickets....see what I mean...Bush 2004 and Ed Bryant has their’s up there in 24 hours
Fox poll results on debate
86%-McCain 12%-Obama 1%-undecided
Sean Hannity just asked the same question to Fred Thompson ( Ohh God do I wish Fred was the GOP nominee now ) anyway, enough of that rant..... Fred said that the setting did not allow John McCain to really go off on Obama about Ayers or the Fanny Mae fiasco because the setting was intimate with real civilians , not like a regular debate were the candidates up on a stage far away from the people.
Sarah punches right through the MSM filter with provocative but true zingers (witness ‘palling around with terrorists’) and we can expect a whole lot more of the same, soon.
Our girl actually enjoys delivering truthful blows that the MSM is apoplectic to bury or spin, but fail, fail to.
I can only hope she’s ready to pounce on the Berg motion.
You “purist” Ross Perot conservatives are not putting your country first. We are never going to have perfect candidate.
Yea right! He NEVER had your vote and I would take it to the bank. What a lame post!
